    November 26 08:47 PM
  • JamieTwort Haha I simply listened to it to see how bad it really was and for the lols. It was actually worse than I thought it was going to be.

    July 19 01:58 PM
  • JamieTwort Well me, sonic, KILL and a few others got the thread for Diamond Head - Lightning to the Nations up to 100 pages by just talking about Metal in general and apparently it was considered spam. Most of the pages gotd as well.
    July 19 01:49 PM
  • JamieTwort Hey, yeah haven't seen you online for ages. You haven't missed much apart from a bunch of us, including me, getting banned for a month for "going off topic" on the Diamond Head thread. Nice Trapeze rating by the way, great band.
    July 19 01:45 PM
  • JamieTwort I'll check them out, I think I may have heard one or two songs by Metal Church before but I'll definitely give them another listen.
    May 21 02:34 PM
  • JamieTwort If you haven't heard it I recommend checking out Jethro Tull - Stand Up, it's one of thier earlier albums and has some bluesy songs as well as thier ususal folky prog.
    May 21 02:18 PM
  • JamieTwort I've been digging Jethro Tull a lot lately as well as some Exodus. Also recently got Torture - Storm Alert which is an incredible Thrash album.
    May 21 02:09 PM
  • JamieTwort Oh right, good to see you're back.
    May 21 02:04 PM
  • JamieTwort Sup haven't seen you online much lately.
    May 10 09:10 AM
  • ImpossibleInfluence2 What kind of metal have you been listening to lately?
    April 9 03:10 AM
  • ImpossibleInfluence2 I'm pretty bad with genres but I've heard them called deathcore which makes sense
    April 4 08:11 PM
  • ImpossibleInfluence2 It's taken me a while to get used to the singers voice but I agree about the lyrics and music on Transatlanticism.
    March 13 08:41 PM
  • JamieTwort Yeah I know what you mean, 3.5's a fair rating, it was always going to get an extra 0.5 from me simply due to the fact it has Gary Moore on it. Nice Gary Moore ratings by the way.
    February 28 06:11 PM
  • JamieTwort Hey check out my latest review (BBM - Around the Next Dream) pretty sure it's something you'd dig.
    February 21 07:05 PM
  • ImpossibleInfluence2 How was that Death cab for cutie album? Someone suggested it to me
    February 12 09:34 AM
  • JamieTwort Volbeat rock
    January 26 03:48 PM
  • JamieTwort Well upon it's release (1996) it was said to be the band's most agressive album since Never, Neverland, which I probably agree with. It's definately worth a listen although definately not as good as their first two but it has it's moments. Maybe I was a but generous with my rating but it's certainly worth a 3.5 at least IMO.
    January 21 04:49 PM
  • omnipanzer I have listened to them over the years and need to get them again. I'll probably get them after I re-up my music account.
    January 17 01:32 PM
  • JamieTwort I had a listen to the band the other day after you mentioned them, they're pretty good but there's so much awesome classic rock to choose from I couldn't include everything.
    January 16 02:07 PM
  • omnipanzer Yah, Definitely one of the bands that transcended there decade.
    January 13 02:18 PM
  • omnipanzer Jar of Flies and Dirt bumped to 5's because you are absolutely right ;^)
    January 12 01:54 PM

    January 6 02:56 PM
  • JamieTwort Your welcome. Yeah I haven't come across any lyrics either, great album though, although not as good as his first.
    January 6 09:23 AM
  • JamieTwort Thanks man, didn't think I'd seen you around for a while. Nice Down rating by the way.
    December 28 05:55 PM
  • ImpossibleInfluence2 Yeah mahavishnu is awesome. A band full of insanely good musicians who play great music. Billy cobham and john mclaughlin are huge influences on my playing
    December 26 06:39 AM
  • JamieTwort Been listening to Black Country Communion, superb album!
    December 13 06:08 PM

    December 13 02:35 AM
  • Kimm Yeah I love Anberlin and am just getting into mewithoutYou!
    December 12 09:04 AM
  • Emim So do I! How ironic...
    December 12 08:49 AM
  • Kimm Yeah I like the melodic stuff. I also like a lot of the Christian metalcore bands because I connect with what they're saying. But yeah I like some other stuff too! Aletheian and Extol...both some pretty solid bands.
    December 12 08:41 AM
  • Emim Because I'm an ironic hipster and you just got punked what now
    December 12 08:39 AM
  • Kimm If you ever decide to wonder about these things and have some questions, I'd love to hear them =]And I totally would have thought you were serious if you hadn't said lol! Haha.
    December 12 08:35 AM
  • Emim Nope, my "religion" is just the lens through which I view the world.
    December 12 08:30 AM
  • Emim No, God is not contained within a religion. I just read the Bible.
    December 12 08:22 AM
  • Kimm You believe everything can be explained through science.I believe in things beyond human capacity to understand. I believe that God is eternal...he has no beginning or end.A plant doesn't understand the interaction that animals have with each other because it doesn't have the capacity to understand. A dog doesn't interact with other dogs the way humans interact. A fish doesn't appreciate good poetry. In the same way, humans don't understand the things of God, except what's been revealed to us.
    December 12 08:17 AM
  • Emim To answer your last question to Kim: God created time, and therefore exists outside of time; a concept we really cannot imagine as we exist solely within its confines. Without time, there would be no beginning and no end.
    December 12 08:16 AM
  • Kimm First finish answering my question. You say the universe came into being by compressed particles. So where dis those particles come from?
    December 12 08:05 AM
  • Emim Gravity is actually the weakest of the four forces. js
    December 12 08:02 AM
  • Kimm That doesn't answer my question. How did the universe come into existence?
    December 12 07:59 AM
  • Kimm There's no point in getting into details when we can't even agree on the basics. My question to you is this: what was the first thing to exist and how did it come into existence?
    December 12 07:53 AM
  • Kimm Can you explain what you mean by that?Btw you're free to end the discussion whenever you choose to. I don't want you to think I'm forcing my beliefs on you.
    December 12 07:44 AM
  • Kimm For example..?
    December 12 07:34 AM
  • Kimm It's funny, people say that I'm ignorant and that I'm just a blind follower of what I've been taught...and yet here you are, not even knowing the theory I believe and you probably think I'm crazy. It makes me so sad, people have no clue where life came from.
    December 12 07:25 AM
  • Kimm By "young Earth" Josh is referring to the belief that the Earth is not billions of years old. Close to 6,000 actually.
    December 12 07:15 AM
  • JamieTwort Yeah, listened to a few songs they're pretty cool. What album would you suggest downloading?
    December 11 05:37 PM
  • Nagrarok Of course you can, you don't always have to understand lyrics to enjoy the music (though the lyrics are pretty important in this band's case). But still.
    December 11 04:08 PM
  • PurpleDrank haha yeah it's pretty hilarious
    December 7 04:37 AM
  • JamieTwort Much cleaner vocals than say Kreator but harsher than Heathen at times. Act III's definately worth downloading.
    December 1 03:09 PM
  • ImpossibleInfluence2 It took me a long time to get into them too. It's weird how you like different bands at different times in your life
    December 1 09:24 AM
