| Inveigh yes, absolutely. a beer like that will age gracefully for at least 5 years, I would think. in fact, it may not even reach it's peak before 1-2 years (that high of an abv plus barrel aging equals age for 1 year minimum imo otherwise all you'll taste is booze and bourbon). sounds like an awesome brew.

| Inveigh my general qualifiers are that it's higher than 8% abv (unless it's a sour/wild ale), and it can't be a hop-focused beer (so no IPAs or Pale Ales, with few exceptions like Dogfish Head 120 Minute since it's like 21% and turns into a barleywine in about 8 months). Anything already barrel aged is good, and as a general rule of thumb imperial stouts and barleywines almost always age well.
