| Hawks Nm bro on break at work atm whats up with u??
| DDDeftoneDDD Ahaha damn "baseado" does not mean based (in the senss of "with knoweledge") in portuguese. However, in portuguese BR, baseado means joint. Was that on purpose? If it was the joke was brilliant lol
| e210013 I'm very glad that my job can be useful to you and for many Sputnik users. Cheers, mate.
| e210013 Thanks buddy. It's true. In the last nine years I've been dedicating some of my free time reviewing prog rock music on Sputnik. I really like it. I was born listening to prog in the middle of the 70's. Besides, someone needs to do that. Lol.
| Hawks That's what I'm here for!!
| Hawks Not much at all bro just life sup with u???
| kildare Nah, I had it coming. Or at least I'm not surprised. I basically said that Industrial is stagnating, and fans don't want to hear stuff like that. But thanks for the benefit of the doubt!
| kildare Well, I posted some stuff on Reddit's r/industrialmusic and pissed some people off, so I'm pretty sure associating with me on there is a bad idea for you at the moment. But in case your still smoldering about the disagreement I found this post on the r/numetal subReddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/numetal/comments/16durtp/opinions_on_static_x/

| Space Jester Lol, yea I really love it! I love all of Isis? stuff but Celestial gets way less love so I gotta scream about it sometimes
| normaloctagon hey bud, been enjoying seeing you around lately, not great about returning shouts these days but appreciate the msgs. i dig chain reaction but only know a few of the staples, gotta dig deeper. happy to take any recs if you feel like doling em out.
| MoM Also, I can hella relate. I use to binge music regularly, and now, I only do here and there. Or it?ll be a few on repeat, like you. So, if anything, shorter lists work better for me. s***, there are some albums I?ve been meaning to get around to for like a decade.
| MoM I appreciate the list! Thank you, Vlac.
| MoM Straight up anything. Genre is not an issue unless it?s crunkcore. Much appreciated!
| MoM Good to hear! Got any recs you?d do me the favour of sparing? Always looking!
| MoM I?m good! How?ve you been? I hope things are going well!
| Relinquished atmospheric sludgecore vs sludgecore with noise idk bro on one hand isis mad you daydream as a good thing and OMG had caleb
| MoM Yo, Vlac! What?s up?
| normaloctagon oh i was totally joking on that thread haha, i asked them to nuke my comments yesterday. gotta go for 8,888 again!
| Divaman Yw. More specifically, it's "Killface for President".
| Divaman It's Killface from Frisky Dingo.
| normaloctagon No problem man, yeah Paul Johnson the day after was a hell of a one two punch and i couldnt bring myself to do another article but agree that more diversity on the site is a good thing and something to strive for among the userbase. Appreciate the shout!
| rabidfish yo thanks, i guess... if you like sludge, check out USA/Mexico, especially their debut. butthole surfers' drummer plays in that. it's cool.

| CaptainDooRight That sounds perfect. I'm actually writing and producing an expiremental album right now and I sure could use the motivation
| CaptainDooRight dam bro that's prolly like the only genre in existence I'm not familiar with, ill actually educate myself on that shortly because ive been wanting to.
| CaptainDooRight actually i am but im not too familiar with it, please give me some worthy recs!
| SgtPepper Hey, man! and unfortunately no. but I don't really listen to Kraftwerk as much as I should though.
| Lord(e)Po)))ts one of my favorite albums of all time/title track is in my top 5 songs ever for sure. did a presentation on fela kuti and that album in music psych today!
| Lord(e)Po)))ts sorry for late reply, been getting shoutbox raped... hows it?
| Karmagedon I try ;') I'm making a run for a staff position, so any support on my reviews would be greatly Pos'd
| oltnabrick oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo oooo
| SgtPepper Oh, my god. That's awful. Other Sounds and centaur and the phoenix were among the first jazz albums I got into. His flute playing in "Taboo" makes my ears melt.-- R.I.P.
| Gwyn. mhm mate, underrated trip hop right there
| demigod! i don't take the liquid; i find it tastes too horrible to finish. I take a bottle of these and they send me on a good trip most of the time. However, I often throw up but none of my friends have so I think that might just be a reaction to the red dye.http://www.psychonaut.com/synthetic-psychedelics/27415-dxm-robitussin-dm-need-info.html
| demigod! lol well i need to do dxm again first. And it shouldnt matter as long as the only medicinal ingredient is dextromethorphan. Aka no acetometophine or guafiswhatever, etc
| slimdaddy Yeah, lets just hope! I am putting aside a little money for if they do come anywhere close
| slimdaddy I want to see Rammstein more than any other band. I am waiting for a US tour patiently
| oltnabrick *puts oltnabrick costume on from toys r us*
| kitsch 95% of all music sucks you dumb bitch
| NapalmCrusader No te preocupes viejo, considero lo mismo. Bueno, siempre que la gente no ponga aqui a moderatto, mana o a panda, todo está bien
| CaptainDooRight check my new classical album bro - http://trvth.bandcamp.com/album/lush
| Pon lol glad you liked it
| oltnabrick pos all my reviews for ten points of swag////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
| oltnabrick 10, 9, 8, 7, triple six, five, forked tongue
| ChuckyTruant Nope, I've never taken any lessons. 100% self taught. Age doesn't matter much. It's easier to pick things up very early. Say 3 or 4. But almost no one begins that early. So nah starting at 18 is no big deal.
| ChuckyTruant But I also say that nothing worthwhile is easy. So take that as you will.
| ChuckyTruant Well I'm not sure. I'm certainly no master. I can tell you that for purely beginner stuff guitar is one of the easier instruments to play. As you get more advanced the guitar becomes one of the more difficult and complex instruments. My skill level is probably intermediate-low advanced.
| ChuckyTruant No problem man. Any time. Once you really begin to love playing and start to challenge yourself your ability will grow exponentially. It's pretty sweet
| ChuckyTruant Lastly, make sure it is fun. And that you enjoy it. That is the most important thing.
| ChuckyTruant This way you can learn exactly what you want to and any style you wan without having a teacher in your way. What you should also do is join some guitar forums and chat with guys on there. My favorite forum is SevenString.org even if you never plan on playing 7's still join. It's a incredibly awesome site with plenty of dudes to help you out. Generally really nice dudes their too
| ChuckyTruant I would organize your goals with the guitar. Like literally sit down and write out what you would like to be able to do with it. Then I would get lessons off YouTube and other parts of the Internet. Start by learning some parts of songs you like. Then take those parts perfect them and change them to make them your own. | unclereich no way man i just said i live in san fran! it's an eight hour drive lol!
| unclereich yea im not worried about the money part im worried they won't come back to california for a while
| unclereich lol dude im the biggest gj fanboy ever i'd pay any amount to see 'em but they haven't come to san fran in a while
| unclereich sounds truly incredible i am all sorts of jealous now!
| Artuma umm that's what i've always been saying lol
| owen Yeah they were amazing. I don't care if it only was a cash grab or notI'm glad I took the opportunity to see them before the reunion ended!
| unclereich lol do you like king of the hill im a huge fan!
| unclereich Thanks a lot bro I'm very proud of it lol, remain in light is the best
| CrownOfMagnets damn i say some dumb s*** in the lists i post. but yes that is true.
| demigod! i have no idea man i live in Canada
| demigod! ah well im closer to 6 foot actually.. and as for weight, i think ive put some on since that list
| demigod! it's a bit hard to explain, but you kinda feel extremely light but grounded and percieve everything differently. music becomes absolutely incredible, your emotions becomes more discernable (well for me at least) and you might start shouting nonsense depending on how ****ed you are. my friend took like 1.5 bottles (around 500mg) and kept going "there's a package of Marigolds here for you... THEY ARE BEEEEEAAAAARRRRSS"yeah its worth trying, not too expensive, around 15 to 20 bucks for a 250mg bot
| demigod! haha yeah a few times. it's pretty wacky.
| pribosse dude check this out http://necrodogg.bandcamp.com/
| Cygnatti hello, nah man. just found her shtuff and had to decide whether or not she deserved higher than a 1.0. she didn't. so I added her to the db and s***.
| Gwyn. Worship is one of my all time fav albums so no I wouldn't say so, but rules still
| Spec Like heaven. Everything is perfect.
| Spec Alcohol, amphetamines, Oxy, Cocaine.
| Spec drug wise what are your personal favourites? i've always been extremely interested in their effects and the phychology/brain chemical stuff behind them.
| Spec Well yeah I don't know what else you could rate it.
| Spec The ones I had before that we're serious would typically get reported andd.
| Spec I'll make a new one soon. And it will actually be serious.
| Cygnatti ofc, they rule. I've had return the gift playing on for hours and hours some days.
| Gwyn. They are one of my favorite bands. Seeing qould onw of the best birthday gitfs i can think of
| ComeToDaddy Yeah the vocals were always the problem I had with them but I tried them out when I first started using this site and my taste was... limited to say the least haha. I just never got around to checking them out again. I'll have a look into those ambient recs, I haven't found quality ambient in quite a while so thanks a heap
| SgtPepper I stick by that rating. It was the first album I heard by them after discovering them here, and loved it over time. I have a weakness for rock bands that focus on dreamy/spaced-out atmospheres, so that album was like the jackpot for me.
| facupm voy a escuchar entonces, Sabbath es una de mis bandas preferidas
| facupm no los conozco, nunca escuche un disco de ellos, vale la pena?? si me recomendas alguno no tengo problema en escucharlo
| geasoftime You've got good taste, man.. don't waste your time with Lil B, unless of course you want to listen to some really terrible music to be able to gauge other music more accurately. Lil B has hit a new low. After you hear Blue Flame and I'm Gay you'll have to bump that Daft Punk album up to a 3. And Daft Punk sucks all the cocks in the universe. You shouldn't **** with oltnabrick, he's like the court jester around here. We keep him around for the lulz, but it's not a good idea to take him seriously.
| oltnabrick it feels amazing. did you check any of those lil b mixtapes?
| oltnabrick http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=616455 Download everything here in order
| Sleaper its my least favorite flylo album but its still awesome. Flylo set his standards so high.
| Rev one of my favorite albums and one of the reasons I got into making beats lol. I threw it on my record player earlier today haha
| Rev yup! one of my favorite dudes
| tempest-- Why did I have the bowl, Bart? Why did I have the bowl?
| SgtPepper Actually, I can't sleep without some kind of noise either. I spent sometime in New York, and maybe it's because I miss the place so much, but I can no longer sleep in simple silence. I bought a fan to make some noise while I sleep. Even in the winter, I still turn it on.
| SgtPepper I just like hearing a girl moan and breathe heavily during sex. I find the moaning to be sexier than any song I can think of. Nothing against Mezzanine, because I absolutely love Massive Attack, but I dont know. Playing music during sex doesn't work for me.
| FranzSchubert thanks, i'll look them up. Have you heard hidden orchestra or portico quartet before?
| FranzSchubert Bitches brew is probably my favourite album of all time. Deserves nothing less than a 5. Doyou know of any recently released jazz albums that are worth a listen?
| CaptainDooRight sorry man it never really clicked with me tbh, lol what's wrong with me
| liledman Nice, that's a great album. Taylor has a reputation for being exceedingly difficult, though his difficulty is a different kind of challenge than the likes of Coltrane; Taylor is quirky, and highly developed melodically and rhythmically; Coltrane (like other saxophonists around the time) is harsh and straining, emotionally draining. Either way, it doesn't take much to realise that they aren't scary people, and their music should not be viewed as such http://youtu.be/3oiJMXAgZR0
| SgtPepper Yeah, I saw it on television. Glad to see Bayern won.
| SgtPepper Good to hear you're well. Did you end up seeing the Bayern game?
| SgtPepper I'm good. same old. How about you? How's things?
| NoiseForZeus Hey Bro' Sorry for the late answer. I didn't enter in here since a few days... I agree you about Cephalic Carnage! One of the major Grind bands for me; like Disharmonic O., Terrorizer, N.Death, Brutal Truth etc...
| NoiseForZeus My Bro'; I hope you will be enjoy their albums. By the way; check this torrent link; seeds are not a lot but I think albums compilation pack is good: http://kat.ph/the-kilimanjaro-darkjazz-ensemble-the-mount-fuji-doomjazz-corperation-t6577897.html
| NoiseForZeus Thanks for your comments my friend. By the way; you like Jazz; Did u listen The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation's albums? (DarkJazz) If you didn't, highly recommended! You must be listen them!
| Winesburgohio a gift: http://www19.zippyshare.com/v/94373216/file.html
| liledman Thanks for the kind words. And yes, Basic Channel rule :)
| Winesburgohio Nahh man i'll just up my copy when i get home. hope zippyshare is o.k? P.S **** yes free jazz
| evilford haven't heard a whole lot of the newer stuff. the bride was alright but I didn't get into it too much. I'll try to check more of it. their discog is huge though...which is awesome
| evilford sweet yeah that album rules. been a melvins fan for a long time but haven't listened to them in over a year until recently so I really gotta get back into them. bullhead is awesome yeah. they have so much awesome stuff...gluey porch, Houdini (prob my fav), stoner witch, a senile animal...greatness
| SgtPepper Oh, I forgot about that. Happy international jazz day to you too, man!
| CaptainDooRight album is done: http://trvth.bandcamp.com/album/black-horse-plague
| SgtPepper I'm okay. How's life and school going?
| CaptainDooRight If its good absolutely, I like jazz infused instrumental hop the most
| SgtPepper Yeah, that's some terrible artwork, I don't think I've even heard that one. Also that song was pretty catchy, I liked it.
| CaptainDooRight Hey how u been? Yeah have 4 new songs up from my new album which is almost done. Check it: http://trvth.bandcamp.com/
| SgtPepper Oh, sorry I meant our American home in Maryland. Though my father has been trying to convince us to go back to our native England. Which is something I'm still skeptical about. Oh I didnt know you were still in high school. and yeah, I hate presentations. I never what to say in front of a group of people- especially if what I am talking about is really boring. Good luck with school though, hope it gets better. And thanks, I'll check them out.
| SgtPepper Nice, mate, I knew you'd dig it. What classes are you taking by the way? I had to transfer to online classes because I had to move back home for some family stuff, but they suck. The work itself is not difficult, but it's a lot of reading and writing and I've just been really tired lately.
| SgtPepper Hey, man. How have you been? And actually you're in luck because I just got recommended this really great Jazz album by mindleviticus the other day. It's a post-bop album, with some real lounge-y and fusion feels. Check it out, it's great:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68F9MnSgM5g
| Yotimi ...the mixed version 6. At War With the Mystics 7. Transmission from the Satellite
| Yotimi If you like Yoshimi a lot, The Soft Bulletin is the most similar (and is my favorite). Clouds Taste Metallic is good but doesn't have all the great orchestration. At War With the Mystics is hit or miss but has some great tracks. Embryonic goes down a different path - not very melodic, not much orchestral pop, dirtier production, more psychadelic - but is still pretty good. Personally I'd rank them - 1. Soft Bulletin 2. Yoshimi 3. Clouds Taste Metallic 4. Embryonic 5. Zaireeka (if you can get...
| Polyethylene Yeah a bit of a Patton nerd, FNM and Bungle basically got me into music so my love runs deep. SAW 85-92 is awesome but not quite a 5 for me. Cool ratings
| SgtPepper Oh, man that should be a great show. Have fun!
| SgtPepper I've been good. How have you been though? How's life treating you? And thanks, I got the promotion in mid-2012 or so, it's been working out okay so far. Also, I did hear about Cedric leaving. It's terrible news because Volta is nothing without him and the reason they broke up is because Omar wants to do some really mediocre band. It sucks, but oh well.
| LilB I WILL SEE WHAT I CAN DO. -lil b
| mindleviticus Uhmm... I love the sound, the mood and feel of it. I love the hypnotic rhythms and grooves and it either makes me wanna be really lazy or really energetic. :]
| mindleviticus Check out Gas / Vladislav Delay / Uusitalo / Martin Schulte and The Nautilus Project to start yourself off
| mindleviticus Sorry bro :{ I'd be happy to give you some recs right here right now though! If you want them that is
| mindleviticus As a matter of fact I did! It was called My Taste Vol. 2 but I got rid of it for some reason *shrugs*
| ViralOblivion I couldn't help but notice you said on wacks profile you're reading fight club amazing book after that I would get Survivor it's better and it's the same style as fight club
| taxidermist Hahaha, I was thrown off a bit, but then realised 'basaso' is based. Stay #Based
| wacknizzle Thats awesome. I really want to read the book. I've read Haunted, Chuck, and Choke so far and really loved them. I love his writing, I can't wait to see what else happens in the book and how he personally portrays it in the story.
| BaselineOOO My dream in life is to shake hands with Bill Clinton through your chest hole.
