  • SkapalPes Russia will not attack Slovakia nor the western Ukraine. But Putin knows very well what he is doing. Just taking parts of smaller countries like Gruzia or Moldavia... now Ukraine. It´s borders are only 100 km from where I live. I really hate it and NATO or EU will do nothing because they piss into their trousers from Putin.Anyway, I live my life, listening to music and trying to be positive. But it is not so easy. I am always crying when I am looking at old photos with my broken family...

  • SkapalPes Hi Matt!Thanx for your post. I´m really pissed off about situation in Slovakia. And war in Ukraine really scares me.You know, we are a part of EU quite long, but still only second class citizens. I work for three shifts, and getting only about 2 and half dollars per hour. Most of my money goes to food and rent for living. Can you buy music? No. Must to be a pirate. Our stupid prime minister said, that big conflict is coming. Can you believe it? He is so irresponsible! Of course, Russia will

  • SkapalPes Hi there Matt what`s up?
    January 22 04:22 PM
  • SkapalPes so I am curious and little bit nervous... and definitely I`ll be tired, but I need to earn some money because X-mass is here in a while ... gifts you know :-). Have a nice time and write back if you like!

  • SkapalPes trips I don`t know how you call it there is amphetamine added and that IS addictive). We had post-revolution times and all these things were so new for us, trying to find freedom in wrong places... drugs didn`t get me but alcohol did after years... could write about this for hours but enough for now!In cca 4 hours a friend takes me to a car, I am supposed to help him with some courier things, so maybe in 2 days I will see UK for the first time... i was in France or Spain but never in England,

  • SkapalPes So i don`t know what you`ll be thinking about me now, that`s just the way it is. I`ve been drinking periodically since 15 maybe, I`ve grown up in the pubs and on the concerts, which were always associated with drinking, smoking lot of ganja and things... in fact I tried any drug that was accessible, luckily I didn`t like amphetamine (pervitine) or heroin, I was more a smuggler and LSD/mushroom experimentator, and psychedelics themselves are not addictive (other thing is that in `papers` or

  • SkapalPes Honestly, even this is hard to confess, and I don`t mean only to confess to somebody else but to confess to myself, I`m alcohol addicted person who tries to fight this dependence. I was clear for more than 3 years but about a month ago I had a drinking relapse, I was drinking for 10 or 12 days constantly and I couldn`t stop by myself... luckily I had enough reason left to find out a specialized help... and there was a friend who knows this too well and helped me with that.

  • SkapalPes Congratulations to succesful ending of your first semester, Matt! In Slovakia this are the times of exams, some are usually staying for january... as for me, I ended only 2 semesters and it took me 2 years, i was repeating first classis (? don`t know if this is written right, i mean 2 semesters equals 1 classis, or...?), so in fact I have nothing of it. So I believe you will be better student than I was :-) ! Enjoy your free time with listening to good music and other things you like!Alcohol...

  • SkapalPes Hi there Matt! What`s up man?I`m still living and listening to music, having more than 1.000 ratings ! OK, lot of albums i`ve already known, but of course I`ve found something new too... in fact, i`m more recollecting old materials than finding new bands, getting old maybe :-) ?!? Few changes during the time... moving to another place, but in the same town, being in hospital for two weeks ... fu**ing alcohol got me again after more than 3 years... ah, forget it. Greetings from Slovakia !

  • SkapalPes 1990 and 1995 ... those were my teenage years you know!So some "recs" (I didn` understand this word first, but it is not records but recommendations, am I right?) for you ... it`s hard `cause you seem to know more music than I, but try (if you already didn`t) so hated Kreator album "Renewal", or Morgoth`s "Odium" for example, both are industrial influenced and both are great in my opinion... and if you like it slow and heavy, try Winter. OK for now, have a nice day!

  • SkapalPes as we barely know each other, hope it`s not annoying for you...So you have another great number - 500 soundoffs! In fact I don`t know many bands on your ratings, so it`s interesting for me to look at your profile from time to time! I added some ratings too, some of them I just picked of my memory, but generally I listened to it recently. Most of my favourite music comes from bands founded in 80ies or 90ies, I think it is quite understandable, because I was biggest fan of music somewhere between

  • SkapalPes Hypocrisy as a main stars, they were great, but most positive surprise for me was French band Alcest - they were just excellent, beautiful music, superb performance and sound. Fleshgod Apocalypse had great set too, they were very... ritual and dark, with concentrated show and accurate playing. So... in fact I`m not living with my kids (I have 12 year old daughter too), I`m devorced and that`s what makes me feel like s*** sometimes ... so this was quite important for me. Maybe I`m too personal,

  • SkapalPes So how are you, did you have a nice summertime? As for me, I was unemployed in august, so I could visit my family, as I live in other town now. My greatest experience was visiting the only open-air metal festival in Slovakia - Gothoom fest, I was there for only 1 day, but with my now 16 year old son and for him it was first going to metal concert. Unluckily Gorguts erased their European tour, and we both like them, but besides many Slovak and Czech bands like Depresy or Obliterate there were

  • SkapalPes Hi there Matt! First I must say SORRY for not writing new posts, especially when you have let me know you are pleased by my posts... sometimes I`m real lazy, and it`s little bit difficult and time consuming for me beacuse I must think quite a lot how to write it in English... but enough of this self-blaming and justifying, here I come (strange phrase for me, hope it is used right :) !

  • SkapalPes maybe i should try again! Sometimes it seems there is too much good music for one to meet...By the way, what do you think of electro-industrial or aggrotech? And what do you think of my english, am i making some big mistakes (helping with vocabulary sometimes...)?It`s far after midnight here, so for now...

  • SkapalPes Hi there! I see you have over 1000 ratings now, that`s huge... I just seem not to be able to catch you :) (especially when i has some problems with connection, seems to be OK now), you even wrote a review - this is just one Mayhem I missed, "Ordo ad chao" is my favourite, am I not weird ha? And I also see you recognized some good old classics - Number of the Beast and Rust in Peace / that is the best Megadeth for sure! I listened to Acid Bath about 20 years ago (Kite), i had it on my casette,

    July 12 06:55 PM
  • Artuma yeah i'd love to hear some fantastic industrial bm but i have quite a difficult criteria, i don't want any, you know, basic bm with electronic vibes but more experimental, droning and atmospheric stuff. one rec i loved off my list was blut aus nord (even if not the album i was rec'd) but it wasn't at all the industrial bm i was looking for. if you have recs, give me some please

  • SkapalPes As for the soundoffs, all are visible except those two to albums that failed to be added. Don`t you know what site should be the pictures of cover? I am just opposite to you in one thing: i don`t know E,L

  • SkapalPes Thanx for reply! I tried to add 3 albums, and 1 (Flagitious - Wallow) succeeded. I added one album by Soulgrind "Pakana", it is still not visible in my ratings nor in the band`s profile, and one album from a band Perfecitizen "Through", the band didn`t have any profile here, maybe i should add some band information too, not only the album ... i don`t know... but Soulgrind has its profile and is not visible though. By the way, "Through" is superb album and i gave them 4.5 rating, but...

  • SkapalPes SYL will blow your head off with their music, i love them too, though i haven`t listen to them for some time (aint got their albums with me now), love Ziltoid too... And to that radio thing - i don`t really now what do they play, some hits over and over again, pop and pop-rock sung in slovak as well as in english, generally i don`t think common people care too much about music... one way or another, buying music is kind of luxury that anybody can`t afford here, me included...
    June 14 10:51 PM
  • SkapalPes is Laibach, they are from Slovenia, not Slovakia, i think they had big influence also on Rammstein music (their most guitar work is Jesus Christ Superstars, try it...). But Rammstein is definitely more popular here, in fact i think there is one Rammstein revival band in Czech and one in Slovak, my friend (he is about 60 years old) told me in work few weeks ago, that he was on Rammstein concert here in Presov, of course it was revival ... so are Rammstein still active?

  • SkapalPes Skinny Puppy is real terror etc. I dont know much about soundtracks, i like Badalamenti music and Lynch movies, and try John Zorn playing Ennio Morricone, and in my walkman there is Natural Born Killers soundtrack, i love to play it when going by bus or train. In fact, I raised as a fan of thrash, death, black and grind, now i listen to anything that is not played in commercial radios especially those Slovak... So for now, have a nice day! Ivan

  • SkapalPes I`ve heard Die Krupps - it was interesting, KMFDM is great - you can recommend me some more. Industrial is a style that is normally combined with some other styles, i think it was big influence on music - i can mention Throbbing Gristle, then I like Laibach (i`ve seen them live),Einsturzende of course,Ministry,Prong, Fear Factory, The Young Gods are brilliant, Revolting Cocks, NIN, Front 242, Noise Unit, Frontline Assembly, The Berzerker, Dodheimsgard, Nailbomb, Meethook Seed is excellent!,

  • SkapalPes Hi there, Matt! Thanx for nice reply! (If you dont want me to use your name in salutation just tell me...) Me, i dont really think i could visit U.S. due to my financial situation, wages here are so bloody low. We have also here nice nature and medieval castles plus many ruins as a bonus. Back to music, i had to look at wikipedia to find out what is NDH, now i know, of course I know Rammstein, but it is not my favourite band, not bad but little bit too commercial (what does it mean anyway...)

  • SkapalPes Cao! I`m new to Sputnik (and to internet too in fact), but not new to metal or hc music... i really like some bands you mentioned in your ratings like lard, naked city, bad brains, death, cynic and more... actually i was listening to this bands more than 20 years ago, mainly recorded on mc, no originals - it was too expensive and hard to get ... now i see there is many more good extreme music in your ratings that i don`t know yet... i`ll try to improve my ratings too... Greetings from SK
