I say this all the time, and I will keep saying it, this current Screamo scene is so abysmal.
Every current band is so uninteresting and unoriginal, making the genre completely stale. This is
album is a prime example of the unrelenting boredom the scene has become. The instrumentation is
boring and repetitive, there's no real variety or interesting parts in the album whatsoever.

While it is a great release it is always bordering on something that could have been so much more. I think that's the biggest downfall. You can hear the potential but the band never puts it to use, although their brand of 90's screamo and modern hardcore is still a good listen, it just falls short of, "what could have been."
