This sounds like what a debut album from a metalcore band with potential would sound like. Back Burner would be the sophmore album that showed signs of improvement, but ultimately a band that was not quite there yet. Then Relentless would be the third album that showed the band at full potential. For The Fallen Dreams like to work in reverse I guess.

Thank god it's better than Back Burner. The cleans are often times misplaced but not as annoying as they were used to be. Lowlights are certainly weaklings like NO ONE TO BLAME or WAKING UP ALONE but fortunately the album also features tracks like YOUR FUNERAL, SOBER or WHEN PUSH COMES TO SHOVE which showcase that not all talent of a former "genre/niche giant" is lost. A bearable listen for die hard junz-fans that are capable to fade out some choruses here and there plus people that have swallowed the bitter pill of FOR THE FALLEN DREAMS' kind of "downhill progression", if you even want to call it like that.

For the Fallen Dreams, for all intensive purposes, is kind of bad. When they have Chad Ruhlig, they're a wonderful guilty pleasure of mine while not being the worst thing ever recorded. But this is an absolute train wreck, with everything from terrible songwriting to unbearable production.

The Pop-punk clean vocals are too much, back burner was okay, but this is just too much. It's like they're trying to copy ADTR poorly, which is sad cause ADTR isn't very good to begin with.

Love this band's first 2 albums, Back Burner was okay, but this is so bad. rTried to get through the whole album but the shear mediocrity made it feel like every song was the exact same thing.

I never thought I'd be giving one of my favorite bands this low of a rating. People are making all kinds of puns off the album name, so I will too :p The album should've been called wasted time due to the time not only I wasted listening to it, but the time the band wasted in the studio to make it. The vocals just sound uninspired which is completely opposite of their best album Relentless. Did all hope go out the door with Tkaczyk?! I was certainly hoping not. There are bands that can survive without the founding members and still make a good album. In Flames is a great example of this. Too bad FFTD couldn't even stand in the shadow of those guys let alone on the same stage as them. It sucks to have to bash one of my favorite bands, but hopefully the negative criticism will force them to bring a new formula and some inspiration back into their music.

Love this album. Very good. I bet there will be more awesome things to come from these guys. One of the best albums of the year so far.

This is the the same band that released Changes and Relentless. The production has gotten worse, the guitars are unoriginal and boring, no bass, the screamer sounds bored and uninterested, and the cleans are downright awful. A slap in the face to fans who thought this band had amazing potential. Wasted Youth? Should be called Wasted Potential.rRecommended listens: Changes or Relentless

Not as bad as expected, but still very bad. If the production was better it would be a much easier listen. The clean vox sound bad, bass is absent, guitars get very boring very quickly.
