Moving Mountains get a little bit more intimate, and in the process their best release since Pneuma. A much, much softer affair, the record is chalk full of acoustic guitars and fantastic compositions that all but push the Thrice and post-rock influences aside. Amazing record

This album takes everything about the MovMou sound and refines into something else entirely. I think working with an outside producer really helped them nail the consistency which was missing on all their previous albums. Best description I can give the S/T is that it's moody without being dark

A band that captivated with 'Pneuma' and 'Foreword' with cathartic and emotive post-rock, and afterwards made a respectable post-hardcore album, should have gone a step forward blending those styles and making a post-rock/post-hardcore record. It would have been epic, not like this mellifluous LP. It ain't that bad...but I was expecting so much more from these guys.

The ultimate finale to a great band. Pneuma to Waves to Moving Mountains, they created,
maybe unknowingly, a concept band. Despite each record being so different they each bleed
into the next with similar themes of
the progression of dealing with loss without forgetting what you lost. With each building up
to this epic. It's unfortunate that this is probably their last work but after listening to
their discography... it just seems like it makes sense. There's nothing else they need to
prove.

I mean damn, what happened to these guys? It's not often that a band's best work is written when the band members are in high school, but that certainly seems to be the case with Moving Mountains.

lolbad. what happened to this band?!? this isn't the same MM than on Pneuma (post-rock) or Waves (alternative/post-hardcore) - this is mushy, drowsy bullshit, not making any effort to please one single fan at all. I'd even call this trolling, If I wouldn't know it better...jesus christ. keep Hudson, delete the rest. biggest disappointment in 2013 so far aside from Paramore.

Man, this album blew me away. Watching the live studio session they did just made me love these songs way more as well. I get an Appleseed Cast vibe from this a little bit, and man do I love it.

i didnt like it so much at first, but as usually upon a few more listenings to the album all the way through I love it. Different than previous stuff, but different does not equal bad. This album came just in time for the cold weather in fall
