4.5 superb | coma2rium | May 5th 17 | This album is the most vile piece of unadulterated misanthropic shit Ive ever had the displeasure of hatefucking my ear brains into submission. And I fucking love it. The Cosmic Vein may be the nastiest thing the band has ever written.

4.5 superb | AcmeApathyAmok | April 30th 17 | The segue-way between Crawling Back To God and Fractured Quartz might possibly be the best
moment in FoH history.

3.5 great | FlipTrackz | May 18th 17 | Enjoyable but if I'm being honest, this made me want to listen to Nails instead. Sorry.

4.5 superb | ZSquared | May 9th 17 | This album is ugly and disgusting in the best way possible. In less than 30 minutes this album is the sonic equivalent of the band kicking the shit out of you, lighting you on fire, and shoving you in a meat grinder, and I absolutely love it.

3.0 good | zaruyache | May 6th 17 | this was pretty OK noisy punk junk. The noise is dumb and the deathcore fake black metal screams are dumb, but aside from those this was OK.

4.0 excellent | Henry | May 5th 17 | I feel like the Merzbow collab is still their peak. Needs more noise and I dare say they don't
pull off Death Metal with the same finesse they do hardcore/powerviolence.

4.0 excellent | Grungil | May 19th 21 | Full of Hell deliver another good quality record after conquering the east coast underground metal, and experimental collaborations with The body and noise legend Merzbow. The passages and breakdowns in here, are well executed and never drop the level of intensity. And thats how i like my grindcore.

4.0 excellent | Bedex | July 10th 20 | Even more fiercly merciless than its predecessor. This one is just a near constant barrage of aggression. And yet on a small format like this and with FoH's proficiency, it works very well. Now I'm not quite positive because like an idiot I forgot to upload my notes on the prior LP, but I feel like I prefer this one stylistically. I do enjoy when FOH go more in a dm direction like on 5 rather than grindcore, especially vocally, which is expected given I have the same overall genre preference. They vary beyond this dichotomy though, for example with 4 approaching bm territory. The sort of 'clean' voice on 7 evokes Converge quite strongly and I dig it. I also really like how they processed and integrated vocal samples, e.g. on 1 or 6. Finally, this is the record where FoH show they can do more than existing genres, with .y favourite tracks of theirs so far in 10. The track is super noisy and interesting, and stands out completely compared to the rest of the record and indeed the concluding track that follows it - which I'm not super sure about, feels like 10 would have been a better conclusion. 10 Definitely sets this in 4.0 range. I don't know if I'd say the prior LP was better, but on this one I feel a 3.8

4.0 excellent | cjbizzlebizzle | August 2nd 17 | Trumpeting Ecstasy finds Full of Hell somewhere between the realms of Grindcore, Death Metal and Powerviolence with an extremely aggressive, crusty and somewhat sludgy overall sound. The tracks as a whole aren't the most memorable standing alone but damn does this album have it's great moments and great pacing thanks to samples and extended noise breaks often found on the tail ends of the tracks. One of the obvious highlights and climax moments is the chant at the end of Crawling Back to God leading into the furious, spastic Fractured Quartz. The nihilistic, breakdown ending to Gnawed Flesh is also fantastic. The layout of the album is also worth noting. The first 14 minutes are mostly pure chaos and the last two tracks take up 9 minutes with a subdued, almost industrial noise title track leading into a triumphant 6-minute ender that sums up the album covering all of the ground Full of Hell traverses here. A short experience that is dense with material.

3.5 great | Finn Baker | June 1st 17 | I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this. It reminds me of End Position by Street Sects which came out last year. There isn't any song I really dislike, and I enjoy listening to it from front to back. But it feels like it comes in one ear and out the other. Except for the last track, the title track. and Crawling Back To God, there isn't very much that sticks with me. Maybe in a while I'll bump up this rating, and it will land on my loved list. But I'm not sure.

4.0 excellent | Alabaster Jones | May 18th 17 | Existential nihilism is a bit of a tricky thing to express musically without coming off as an "edgelord" or a "tryhard" so to speak, and if you were to just read the lyrics to Trumpeting Ecstasy, you might assume that Full Of Hell fits that bill. But, music gives lyrics their power, and it's no different here. Right from the get-go, the unrelenting explosiveness of the record becomes apparent, and so too does the deathgrind influence with that marvelous riff twenty-five seconds in to opener "Deluminate". Things rarely slow down from there on out, but when they do, it's used to fantastic effect, like the booming ending to "Gnawed Flesh". Things do come out of left-field a bit later on during the record, with some well-incorporated female vocals dominating the slow-tempoed penultimate title-track. Ultimately, the general vibe of malevolence towards our own species in brought across very convincingly, and the band almost easily produces another winner. And, of course, ol' Kurt's production does the job.

4.5 superb | grandfather | May 5th 17 | I think the metallic edge is actually really well done. Some of the riffs are cool as hell. Obviously not revolutionary, but they're still at the top of their game.

4.0 excellent | Tijnmans | May 5th 17 | I never thought I would describe a Full of Hell album as "accessible" but here it is. Less noise more metallic hardcore. Still killer.
