Joe Budden probably doesn't think wifisfuneral can rap, mostly because Joe Budden is a living caricature of the out-of-touch old head that can't accept any rapper who doesn't spit "woke" bars over a goddamn soul sample. When it comes to Members Only, wifisfuneral is probably the most naturally talented rapper in the group not named $ki Mask, and he's proven he can be an interesting and versatile rapper even further with Boy Who Cried Wolf. He can rap introspectively over a brooding beat, lay down imposing bars over eerie instrumentation, and get hype when the time comes as well. He remains remarkably consistent throughout the whole tape, and though the features outside of Chxpo don't pack a similar punch, the production, mostly handled by Cris Dinero, is entirely fitting and enjoyable, making use of minimal lines of instrumentation with some nice low-end. The kid just seems to be getting better and better with each project, and thus, Boy Who Cried Wolf is his crowning achievement thus far in his young career.
