I like big guitars. I dont like pop music as much as i would if it had big guitars. This is amazing pop music with big guitars.

A lot of filler, but Technology, Stay ignorant, T-shirt Song, Tightrope, Eveybody and Greatness are brilliant!! Good listner is hilarious too, well done lads

Slightly overlong and a tad thematically repetitive by its conclusion, Technology is still a memorably good album, but never reaches the perfect balance of thematic cohesion and satisfaction like on their follow up. The addictive 'Pretty' and superb 'Tightrope' serve as the immediate highlights, however other tracks like 'Yen' and 'Potty Mouth' are both equally excellent. Relegate 3-4 tracks as bonus tracks and this album would've been much tighter.

Great production, fun songwriting with lots of earcandy but the songs themselves aren't really a good backbone most of the time. 'Tightrope' and 'Greatness' are great though.

If this thing is the future of rock then that's a future I want to be in. There are so many excellent and hard hitting arena rock riffs on this thing it amazes me. The dynamics are also outstanding. One minute they are doing those riffs, the next a groovy focused bassline, the next acoustic strumming, the next a keyboard synth, and suddenly there are even brass instruments singing above it all. I could say much more but seriously just listen to it already.

A bit overly self-indulgent at 16 tracks and just under 1 hour long, but some absolutely massive tracks on here. A step up from the last effort for sure. A collection of songs that I definitely want to see live, so job done on that front.
