Somehow, Skeletonwitch's cover art is perfectly fitting whether it is a colourful thrashy splash of grotesque imagery or a morose melancholy of a solemn astral figure in fog.

Disguised as classic Blackened Thrash, this goes beyond that. Always giving this melodic and epic/ folk sentiment to the songs, but at the same time showing us somewhat of a punk/ hardcore attitude to the riffs. Oldschool and modern meet again.

Skeletonwitch opens up and lets their brand of thrash breathe a little (a lot) with extended song structures and proggy directions that take their sound to new directions. A refreshing listen in a discography that was growing stagnant.
