This is a perfect soundtrack to the new Twin Peaks. It's weird and abstract at times, that's what makes it so interesting. This will definitely be harder to digest for a lot of NIN fans.

God Break Down the Door is the only song on here that even comes close to giving me what I want from NIN. Beyond that, this is pretty much just a noise album. Very diasappointing for me personally.

Shit Mirror's chorus sounds like its ripped out of Year Zero with its danceable and jazzy tones. Overall the rest is equally as interesting, distorted, and anxious. Reznor brings out his inner Bowie for some striking vocal moments on "God Break Down the Door" and the ethereal closer "Over and Out." Best thing they've done in years. The first time there's that weird thrashy bit on Ahead Of Ourselves I was genuinely shocked. Never thought I'd hear NIN sound like that in 2018.
