Then again, Pelican sounding like subpar-Russian Circles. Not bad by any means, just not that interesting. Some bm drums here and there were surprising tho.

I hate to sound like a jerk, but this drummer desperately needs lessons. Completely instrumental rock absolutely needs top notch musicians and this sounds like a decent band backed by a first year drum student.

I still don't understand the knocks on Forever Becoming as I think that is their best album. After only a few listens, this is right up there with it, and may surpass it in time. Some of their heaviest and sludgiest riffs they've ever done. Fantastic record from start to finish. Well done Pelican and thank you for the riffs.
