Salaciously melodic while brilliantly hysterical, this is comedy music done right. Did someone mention Tenacious D? Those losers wish they were on a motherfucking boat.

Incredibad is the rare sort of music/comedy album that not only is hilarious (Who Said We're Wack?, Like A Boss) and catchy as hell (Boombox, Space Olympics), but frequently manages to fuse the two together (Jizz In My Pants) to create moments of sheer harmonious, laugh-out-loud brilliance.
Also, Natalie Portman Raps.

The interludes and Space Olympics really drag down the album, which was off to a very solid start.

This is in a similar vein as Tenacious D's stuff, which I also enjoyed. These guys seem to have a sense of musicianship (or at least the help of someone who does) so that helps make these songs worth playing more than once. I was actually surprised by this, it was a pretty decent first outing. The CD doesn't seem to pack as much of a punch without the videos, though I guess the bonus DVD will have to be enough. All in all a good comedic offering from some funny guys.

I figured that the 4 songs released before the album was completed were going to easily be the best material, but I was mistaken. A musically accomplished comedy album, the brilliance of certain songs makes up for the more filler-ish moments on the record. Filled with ridiculous hooks and lyrics, Incredibad is just plain awesome.

I only found a couple of songs from this album to be even slightly funny. That along with the fact that the music isn't great really holds this comedy album back.

Nothing great in the way of actual music, but great if you want a few cheap chuckles. Definitely won't sound nice if you aren't already in a good mood. 3.3/5

For all of the great things The Lonely Island has accomplished in their previously little-known existence, their first commercial album is, sadly, somewhat of a disappointment. As a whole, 'Incredibad' is immature, inconsistent, and messy. It doesn't help that all of the best material is pushed together; tracks 3-6 are some of the very best on the album, but once you get past them, what's left is largely poorly-conceived filler. Download the popular tracks and skip the rest; they're not worth the time or money.rStandout tracks: Jizz In My Pants, I'm On A Boat, Sax Man

I do think it's a pretty standard comedy album that really doesn't work unless you're watching the video... don't get me wrong though, I'm On A Boat is amazing at all times. Ever.

This is actually a really good album. REALLY good. Its almost sad, how an album set on mocking songs, and intending for comedy is this good. 'Dick in a Box,' 'Jizz in my Pants,' and 'I'm on a Boat' all sound like they could be huge hit songs, except of course, they have the awkward lyrics within them that make you laugh instead of trying to take the song seriously. There's a lot of lyrical talent within the songs though, and the arrangement is great.

Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer take hip hop to a whole new level. Their album "Incredibad" is reminiscent of early Adam Sandler. The Lonely Island covers such genres as class hip hop, gansta rap, reggae, and R&B to create a hilarious and ridiculous CD. Their goal of becoming "the greatest fake MCs on Earth" has been accomplished. If you're looking for a good time musically and comically, this is your fix. That is, as long as you don't mind cursing. If so, you should probably set "Incredibad" down and walk away slowly.
*Natalie Portman is hysterical on "Natalie's Rap."
