1.5 very poor | Philthereaper | June 10th 23 | A painful reminder that some things should never make a comeback, particularly nu metal. Its cringe-inducing attempt to resurrect a genre better left in the early 2000s only serves as a stark reminder of why it was rightfully abandoned in the first place.

5.0 classic | Vanilla Scoop Rangler (don\'t come near me I have a gun) | January 16th 22 | Omerta is definetly influenced by Slipknot, but creates their inspiration into something more dark and creative. With the brutal noises of Talent Show, and melodic sounds of Garbage, this is one EP you can not sleep on.

3.0 good | ajcollins15 | June 29th 20 | Rap metal, the genre that most people forget about and only think of Rage Against the Machine. Well, there is a slew of rap-metal bands coming out every so often and some of them do catch my attention. Omerta is one of those artists and they are mixing rap-metal with a lot of different genres and styles from industrial to hyperviolence/grindcore. However, this record 100% wears their influences on their sleeves from classic rap-metal outfits like Rage and Body Count to more modern outfits like Attila and Faith no More to even the trap metal scene of ghostemane and others. So, at the end of the day, this is a very solid debut, but they really need to establish their own sound, which I believe they have because of how diverse a range this band has. Also, the lyrics could really use a step up from the cringe-fest.
