While not exactly reaching the lofty and epic standards Avatar have set for themselves. The band manage to craft an emotional and fairly heavy release which balances dynamic vocals with technical guitar work, beautiful songwriting on tracks such as the unexpected ballad "gun" and pure unfiltered brutality on the opening track "Silence In The Age Of Apes" which is sure to become a live staple once covid decides to piss off.
