Blackfield has always been about pop music from the beginning, and it shows in this album. To be
honest, I actually didn't like it the first time I listened to it (I think mostly due to the
negative reactions and reviews from all around), but this album had some tunes that stuck with
me. After a couple of listens, I love this album. I find it to be better than Welcome To My DNA
and IV.

(Its not dogsh#t!- absolute discredit to the reviewer using such a rubbish degrading term about it) it has some quality, it has some very pop moments which many wont like, but it also does have some very quintessential Blackfield moments and sounds. I think its quite decent!

Absolute dogshit. Aviv sounds here like that dude in the party who insists in singing songs with
his acoustic guitar, while everyone just wants to play beer pong and get laid.

Honestly, utterly forgettable. Didn't have ANY moment to catch my attention, the collaboration felt forced, and after the decent ''Blackfield V'' I expected at least an interesting idea, a la Lonely Soul. Bad bad album, can't even understand what's the reason for being labeled as a ''Blackfield'' album, other than money.

Actually a nicely produced, sweet and heartfelt alt-pop album, given how far
removed it is from Blackfield's origins. Aviv's awkward lyrics and delivery remain a
constant hinderance from something greater, and there are a couple questionable moments
for sure (what is that autotune on Aviv's voice? jesus), but they never overstay their
welcome before some nice orchestral flutters and surprising chord changes save the day.
