3.0 good | whitefilipino | June 3rd 22 | Another generic metalcore Memphis May Fire album but man is it good to have generic metalcore MMF back

3.5 great | ajcollins15 | June 8th 22 | Huh! Never thought the Texas band could ever get back to their explosive and fun sound they started on. ?Remade in Misery? is somewhat a return to form, although a bit of an over-done sound at this point. But the band shows they still have the ability to make some heavy-hitting and explosive alternative metal bangers that any fan of the 2010s warp tour scene will enjoy.

2.5 average | c0nf1n3d | September 14th 22 | Serving as more of a 'collection of their past singles over the past year', "Remade in Misery" loses the element of surprise by having a majority of the album be familiar to a fan of the band. To a blind listener, songs like "Bleed Me Dry" and "Blood & Water" should sound like excellent entries in the genre; on the flip-side songs like "Left For Dead" and "Somebody" might feel like lesser songs. Strange enough, the (partial) title track "Misery" evokes a cool sound reminiscent of early 2000's alternative with a splash of their own unique songwriting thrown in there. This wasn't released until the album itself dropped, but perhaps that was intentional. There isn't anything here that's so unremarkable that it warrants a 'highly recommend', yet there's nothing atrocious that would signal a 'stay away' - so, per this website's rating system...so, it gets a 2.5 "Average".

3.0 good | doom. | June 15th 22 | Step in the right direction. It's just too bad they took too many freaking erratic steps backwards
on their last three albums? Maybe four? Who the heck knows.
Also, what I find silly is that some tracks rule hard but mid song when they build up and hype you
up to what you assume would be a nice breakdown, they instead ditch it and do some weird random
shit. I understand you don't want to be cliche but just stick to what you're good at.

3.5 great | peartnoy | June 8th 22 | Not exactly an artistic statement or remotely emotionally affecting. It's due to a blend of it being overproduced and (funnily enough) how expertly crafted the songs are. The hooks and riffs all hit, despite it feeling so "fake".
