3.5 great | Trey STAFF | January 13th 23 | There's something really endearing and compelling about the sweet melancholy that runs through Married in Mount Airy. There's also no doubt Nicole Dollanganger's voice is the vehicle that drives this whole thing. The music is a cross between ethereal goth and indie pop, and excels at creating dark dreary soundscapes.

3.6 great | Erwann S. STAFF | January 16th 23 | The drem starts off well in 2023: Married in Mount Airy is a heartfelt display of ambient poppy, dreamy, psychy slowcore whose ethereal character is carried by both the gothic vocals and the lavish instrumentation.

4.0 excellent | Taxt | January 6th 23 | Immaculately melancholy. Not as lyrically aggressive as some of her past albums; this strikes me as much more quiet & mournful. Production is better than ever. Give it a spin!

3.5 great | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | April 24th 24 | Dollanganger goes for broke with her creepy juvenile aesthetic, drowned in seriously horror-inspired veneer.
