3.0 good | Bro has djent in his pie | March 27th 24 | I've, unfortunately, found this album far too meandering and takes too long to get to the point, making it less attractive than Covet's older material.

3.0 good | ajcollins15 | April 11th 23 | Yvette Young continues to be an impressive and forward-thinking guitarist and her third album with her band continues to show the prowess she has with a guitar. However, I feel like the band is running out of ideas for this new album. Everything feels like what they have been doing the last 9-ish years, plus the mastering of this album is all over the place with instruments clashing with each other or completely swallowing others. Plus, the amount of distortion on the guitar is extremely distracting from anything else on here. Overall, the band still bands some solid noodly sounding math rock with that post-rock ting, but it really has a hard time standing out from others in this vein, let alone the band's past releases.

3.1 good | Erwann S. STAFF | April 11th 23 | Covet's new lineup also comes with one major stylistic change: there are some heavygaze inclusions into their sound, which imso (in my shitty opinion) comes at the expense of Young's playing. Apart from that, it's typical Covet post-first EP, which I will always have a soft spot for.
