Who wanted this? It seems like he cared so it doesn't feel all that insincere at least, but nah. Musically it's lacking and I don't have an issue with poetry stuff but this feels a bit tone deaf.

He really thinks he made his "Blackstar" here, but all I'm seeing is "Lulu". This is inexcusable,
and a painfully obvious cash-grab. The instrumentals sound rather nice, but I'm confident he had
nothing to do with that.

Hey sometimes it sounds good!! oh wait thats the bit that?s just ripped off from dsotm. Iced Earth ass narrative soundscape. If he werent TALKING so much about the same things he?s said a million times, itd be a 3.5 probably. It would be a good poetry book, but everyone knows that?s not what we?re here for

A terrible remaking that only serves to deconstruct some of the most iconic sounds in history into little else than pretentious backdrop to overpowering drab musings from Waters. A project with no saving grace.

If you're going to attempt such a bodacious endeavor as redux-ing perhaps the most "classic" rock album of all time, at least make it interesting. What does this add to the Pink Floyd canon, or the music-sphere in general? Next to nothing, although the instrumentals are quite pristine for all of 5-10 minutes... before you hear the exact same palette song after song.
