Swords of Dajjal nicely infuses Eastern influences into a pristinely produced deathened meloblack formula, resulting in a record that, at times, truly sounds devilish.

Ugly and demonic, but in a way that makes you want to hear more and more. Thankfully, Necrowretch's brand of meloblack metal is not one that leans too heavily into repetition of old-school cock rock isms. Instead, it pushes for skill and writing to take the stage, delivering an actually powerful metal journey. Loved this one.

Really happy to see these guys being successful, I had a few of their songs on rotation when
they had 100 monthly listeners on Spotify.rAlbum is high quality, nothing groundbreaking but
you don't always need groundbreaking. The more important fact is that there is nothing even
close to bad here at all. Really fun, heavy, fast thrashing black metal.

Crushing black/death metal, but the very sophisticated kind! It's totally like an early Necrophobic record, with bigger emphasis on black metal for achieving an absolutely devilish/hellish atmosphere. The production is spot on as well, tight, balanced... altogether really good!
