How incredible was this band? The proof that if you have the right line-up, classic albums will be made. The songwriting about occult horror themes has never been better.

Very bluesy, dark atmosphere. Everything is improved when compared to first album - songwriting, solos(John Christ rules!), Glenn's vocals(definitely one of the best metal vocalist). It's also more progressive, there are bass-only parts, slide guitar, awesome, bluesy I'm the One, ballad Blood And Tears... Just listen to it!!

It's always a bummer when you realize you don't love an album as much as you used too. This is no different with Danzig's still amazing album Luifuge. While I no longer see it as a classic, it is still a superb satanic Masterpiece. Best songs: Her Black Wings, Devil's Plaything, Killer Wolf.

The main minus is the producer and arrangement - it is very clony to The Cult album Electric ( which is cloned from AC/DC ).The tempo on this recording is faster than needed - it is no good for Glenn's outstanding vocals. But composed music and songs are stronger than on debut and all songs are excellent . This is the step to plain hard rock music style .
