I may have some shitty taste but this has nothing to do with ghost (I mean I know what you re on about...but naaaah not really). This is kinda cool tho X/ very well played. Awesome bass. Fave tracks: Veteran of the Psychic Wars; Vengeance; After Dark.r

Their comeback, except not really. It's got a cool FLAVOR (sort of a stoned mish-mash of psych-pop, proto-metal and horror movie silliness) but the songwriting is ugly and mechanical. I don't care what anyone says, BOC were a three-pronged wonder, and nothing after the third album matters.

In 1981 Blue Oyster Cult was in a tough spot after releasing several sub par and non charting albums they returned into the 80's wave of music. and It was clear they were not the same band. All the same though this band had returned and formed their own style a unique mix of what was popular at the time and the classic BOC style. It made a very unique style and they had not sounded like anything else out at the time.
the song 'burnin for you' the most notable song on the album was a chart sensation and wether boc wanted it or not it brought them a lot of fame.
Overall this album is a rather good listen filled with unique truances that only boc can provide. 'took my babeh away' says the singer in the title track. I always speculated what does that title mean!!? Guess I'll never know after all it is unknown HAR HAR HAR see what I did thar?
