Something new for all you new head bashing, hard hitting, spit in your face mother f******! I have to say something about this album because Clint Lowery did a phenominal job with his brother Cory. I was dissapionted when he left sevendust but when i heard their first and only single "Brother" I had to rise up and knock somebody out in a fit of heavy meatal glory. Then I sat down and called my brother. I think that this band has not had as much recognition as they deserve but this is probably one of my favorite cd's because it gave me a sort of sevendust fix while they were getting therselves together in the studio. Dark new Day's work brings all sorts of ear shattering riffs and jaw dropping bass lines. Coupled with Beautiful vocals and artistic lyrics. And you can't ignore the kinetic energy of those bad a** drums. If you're a hardcore head bashing sevendust fan, or just like to hear some heavy romantic lyrics, check out this cd!

This supergroup consist of members from various nu-metal/hard rock bands. The band knows how to write great hooks and catchy choruses, and the musically this band put on a tight performance giving flowing dynamics to each part perfectly. Unfortunately the incredibly lack of diversity takes a major toll on the album. They get things flowing well with the neat chunky breakdown chorus riff in "Taking Me Alive" and the soaring chorus of "Brother" but then goes to an absolute drag for the rest of the album. "That's Enough" mixes things will enough with the neat vocal harmonies and spiraling guitar lead that goes around. But aside from the opening tracks, "That's Enough" and the closing track. The band unfortunately suffers from the lack of variety on their debut album. However, there is a potential for decency if they manage to put a bit more diversity in their sound.
