Lucky Street sees Go Radio go in the somewhat surprising direction of full on Pop Rock, as opposed to the heavier and more alternative Do Overs and Second Chances. Unfortunately, this newer style doesn't work nearly as well as it should. Once again, we see Lancaster showing off his unique vocals and once again, Lancaster makes it clear why his lyrics far surpass those of their peers in lines such as "...You're leaving something short of innocent" and "If I could paint this town with all your good intent, I'd leave these walls as red as my eyes could have been..." However, aside from the resentful Any Other Heart and some ballads such as Swear It Like You Mean It, there isn't much that catches your attention. Lucky Street is unfortunately a relatively boring release.
