What is it about the human brain that continues to be both so perplexing and easy to understand? May The End of All Things to Come become the answer to this question, as while it might be more restrained in comparison to Mudvayne's debut studio album, the recording also comes off as a refined version of it. The songwriting and instrumentation areas are quite sound, and while there are those whom feel a bit baffled by how less chaotic this is unlike L.D. 50, the rest of the unforsaken souls can certainly jive to what this album has on display. Chad Gray's vocals ooze with emotion and the rhythm section is tight as spandex.

(9/12/15) How this album could be compared to their first effort is beyond me... (11/28/16) Okay, they dropped most their Slipknot/Nothingface-esque vocals for cleaner vocal delivery AND (most of) their prog rock influences. HOWEVER, this album still offers some heavy instrumental play that deserves recognition, esp the bass and drums.

Their most overlooked work to date. TEOATTC may be a pretty radical departure from LD 50, but that does nopt mean that this album is a let down. In fact, it sees Mudvayne mature enormously and delivering an amazing album. "World So Cold", "The Patient Mental", "Trapped In The Wake Of A Dream", and "Skrying" and all insane and some truly underrated masterpieces.

I like this album, but I haven't given the entire album a chance to really sit down and listen to it. Mudvayne does hold back form their first album which is probably a good thing since they find a nice blend. Lyrically its good, it sad and memorable and frustrated which is very much their style sound and lyrics throughout their works.
I do prefer lost and found though

i like this album, i wasn't really into them when they came out with l.d 50 but this album got me into them , but i certainly like lost and found better, forget to remeber is an amazing song
