One of the better albums of the early 2010s christian rock groups (though Icon protests they were
ever christian) even the filler songs like "pieces" and "Up in flames" are enjoyable enough

It's not a great album, but it has a couple good songs. They all sort of blend together.

I feel like this would be a band and album I would enjoy, but maybe I've outgrown this type of thing. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way. Instrumentally it's not too bad and the vocalist sounds good at moments, but overall it feels too much like they're trying too hard to appeal to the teeny goth or emo/Hot Topic crowd.

Ariel is hot as hell and songs like Theater are catchy as fuck. A harder, better version of Paramore imo; I wish she'd scream a little bit though.
