| bellovddd :0 THANK YOU!!!!!!! I missed this omg.
| Storm In A Teacup Empoleon is overpowered just with surf, waterfall, shadow claw, and cut.
| Storm In A Teacup Tried using them in the final 4 and league champ but had to rely more on level 60 rapidash and level 70 empoleon. Luxray ended up not doing as well either for the big fights.
| Storm In A Teacup Champ was difficult also had a hard time with Flint and his Deifblim. Drif got their evasiveness so high they KOd 5 of my pokemon on a failed attempt. Staraptor was OP for me until i all my other pokemon supassed their level
| Storm In A Teacup I beat league and champ after 4 tries with staraptor, onix, luxray, medicham, rapidash, and empoleon. Pokedex 146/150 need drifblim on friday, and the 3 mystic? storyline? pokemon.
| Abscurat Hey, brother! Really appreciate all the kind words! I think this whole year of complete comatose for us all is coming to an end, since each of us can be drafted for army service any day now there is no much time to waste :) A lot is cooking in the camp right now, Finals. EP will get 5-year anniversary release with some additional staff, and I'll be re-recording vocals for The Lover anniversary as well, also, a lot I can't mention at this point, but yeah, will try to speed things up
| Storm In A Teacup Basically take their 4 albums since reuniting and am trying to order a 20 song 60 minute double album
| Storm In A Teacup Ive been listening to a crap load of Oceans Ate Alaska, Tropical **** Storm, and Rivers of Nihil, but also have been working on a list called "Atreyu Post Hiatus Fixed"
| Storm In A Teacup Doing pretty good. Working hard to be better. ? hope youre doing good concu
| Storm In A Teacup Emeritus has a time limit. It eventually disappears after some years. :(
| Abscurat that's so cool, he actually dropped a message couple of months ago, said he really liked the cover
| Gnocchi I am definitely not in a rush to start reviewing Atreyu again haha. It won?t stop me from listening though. I?m sure your review does the job. If I have the time I?ll try squeeze a read and a few notes in.
| Mort. hmmm interesting. just checked out the first couple of tracks. good stuff. have added that ep to my long list of things to check. cheers!
| Storm In A Teacup I picked up and opened the package. !!! Thank you concu! I'm really excited about silver and blue and I just looked up at to try and learn about it!
| Storm In A Teacup I got the infection gone and the swelling gone and temp caps over tooth but saving money and have new insurance to see what I can do. I think hopefully I will be able to figure out the endgame before February ends.
| Storm In A Teacup You got so lucky being on vacation. The site was attacked and most of us logged in lost all our comments.
| Storm In A Teacup Oh wow yeah that'd be cool if you wanted to! I took that diamond to the jewelry place today and they said it was just cubic zirconia lol.
| Storm In A Teacup Well. Ironically I think I found a real diamond on the street today. I'm going to have it looked at but it sank to the bottom of a cup of water like a bullet and is beautiful and google image search comes up with diamonds. Very weird. The game made me think of how hunting for real diamonds would be amazing.
| Storm In A Teacup Yeah im v excited about all the possibilities! I used the combo code after 1 minute of research! My party of 6 right now is Staravia, Prinplup, Shinx, George, Onix, and Ponyta! I'm very excited about rares and I grind train my tem. This is my first pokemon game since yellow came out on Gameboy color back in the 90s. It's amazing and getting to see all the pokemon I don't know cuz I'm only super familiar with 152 or so pokemon
| Storm In A Teacup You have no idea how much I'm going to play this thing when I'm in car waiting for next uber or door dash and even in the restaurants that take forever like yokozuna. This is a huge morale boost for me both at work and outside work. Thank you so much concu
| Storm In A Teacup Concu!!!!! Thank you!!!!! This is so exciting i stopped by parents on way home from work and now about to play Pokémon for the first time in years. Thank you thank you thank you!!! ? ?
| Storm In A Teacup Damn concu. Thank you so much for your kindness that is amazing. I will do my best to pay it forward with love.
| Storm In A Teacup Both happpen, usually they try to deliver at door and if no answer they take to office
| Storm In A Teacup Not yet. No notice at the door either and just called apartment office they don't have anything. It was just Thanksgiving tho could be why I think that slows down mail every year
| Storm In A Teacup Ian Raguse is my name too if you need to put that on There. Thank you so much concu very kind of you
| Storm In A Teacup Yoooooo that would be crazy concu if you want to that would be awesome
| Abscurat And again, thank you! It's really crazy that this album will turn 10 next year. I was actually thinking of doing something for its anniversary, maybe a redux or something. Hopefully we won't get killed by ****ing russians
| Abscurat Thank you, we had couple of features on every album that are obviously not my vocals, but yeah, it's me all the time. I've tried DMing Geoff with no luck, and their twitter account liked the tweet mentioning them, but aside from this not communication with the band so far, I'll keep trying.
| normaloctagon Im glad i could facilitate some additional thought and insight around this for ya and def wish you well on that journey. Not too interested in chatting about the situation itself further rn but i do appreciate the sentiment and hope to see you around!
| normaloctagon discussing with a close friend, and looking for other articles or writeups that do what you intended to do to see how they handled the topic.
| normaloctagon Not rly able to pick out specific examples since the whole review is pretty tone deaf. Comes off as musings that draw a thread between the musicians actions and his art. May be intellectually interesting on some level to do this, but doing so in a public forum so soon is in bad taste, esp if you don't have a new idea or original argument to contribute to the discussion. As far as writing goes, I wish I had more suggestions for you, but would reiterate taking time to process,
| normaloctagon always happy to discuss this stuff and thanks for reaching out. you understand correctly that your language in the review implies praise of his depravity regardless of your intention. my suggestion would be to take more time to process what has happened before offering your thoughts in a public forum. most peoples gut reaction to this sort of thing ignores the finer details of how their own language and actions can perpetuate the same harmful ideas.
| JohnnyoftheWell um i think that giving them exposure is probably moot given that everyone is discussing them anyway, but going down the ol' ratings-speak-louder-than-words line, you should probs reconsider that 5 if you keep the review as is, or throw in some kind of engagement with the music that would better justify it
| altmjw I really dig the new album. A couple songs are misses for me but the other tracks are some of the strongest material they?ve written since the alchemy indices, imo. Northern Lights is so good
| altmjw Presently listening to a lot of Capstan?s newest album. I say newest album like I?ve been listening to them for a long time but I just discovered them
| altmjw Paxman?I haven?t ****ed with sput in a long time, was stoked to see you still hanging around
| altmjw We used to chat on Xbox back in the day?and you convinced me to listen to the always open mouth
| sevEn That's amazing! Thanks for the recommendation. Favorite song: Grave Filled with Books
| sevEn I'm excited for your next review
| altmjw You?re still on here!!!!!!!?????

| el_newg Hahah I actually managed to find someone else who was able to trade with me, sorry! super happy to help out you or anyone else on the site if need be
| el_newg actually I just had another crack at the digging bros and managed to find the Dinos hahaha so really I just need those evo trades!
| el_newg hey mate here is my switch code SW-0001-6805-5532 :) I forgot you can't breed the fossil Pokemon, so I just need 2 Fossilized Dinos. there's 4 other Pokemon I need to trade to evolve, Swirlix, Spritzee, Shelmet and Karrablast. if there's anything you would like let me know!
| user looking back it made zero sense so my apologies to sending you into a confused frenzy
| user oh lol I asked where the review was for #17 on your list and then you added the bit that said "these are ones I want to review" or whatever
| user good lookin out
| Papa Universe your 2019 album to review is: Ringworm - Death Becomes My Voice
| DarkNoctus awww [: i love you too! i bet you're super lovely!
| tacos n stuff bruhhh chillll i just jammed it, gotta let it grow first
| tacos n stuff nahhh no deadline, its a casual thing. But yeah, i was gonna get together everyones ratings/blurbs once everythings said and done tho
| tacos n stuff making the rounds with everyones recs now, you were rec'd "brother, sister" by mewithoutyou, hmu when after you jam with a simple rating out of 5 or a blurb if you wanna write one, totally optional tho :) you can also remove this comment if you want, up to you
| ZombieToyDuck ah sorry bud pittsburgh is a bit out of range for me but appreciate the offer! I'm in Jersey
| ZombieToyDuck I saw they were doing some dates I'd like to haha we shall see
| ZombieToyDuck anytime bud! Female vocals on a side note with screaming as well so its pretty interesting
| ZombieToyDuck well you jammed a lot of similars to Fear Before but based on some of your 5 you should really check Rolo Tomassi, check Hysterics! Though admittedly its more close to the like of Number Twelve Looks Like You mixed with Horse The Band
| danielcardoso Aren't you gonna carry on with your "search for the worst" thing? :]
| Snowdog808 I understand. Insipid and dull really does describe them well. At the very least they are disbanded though, so maybe this will allow different and far better bands to reach higher positions on the US Independent charts.
| Snowdog808 I understand. It's certainly not for everyone, especially Celtic Frost's more experimental take on it. Monotheist I'd say is more of a doom metal album though. Was that BOTDF album tormenting to listen too? Even though their album Bitchcraft is without question the worst album I've ever heard, I wasn't necessarily tortured by it because I was reading in the comfort of home while hearing it, plus it is about as short as a 50s rock album, just much more horrible.
| Snowdog808 Nice mini-reviews on more abominations of audio Code! Have you heard any of the pre-Cold Lake Celtic Frost albums? The two full-lengths before it are two of my favorite exteme albums of the mid to late 80s.
| Snowdog808 I know he didn't have any albums among that 51, but I was thinking that you could potentially listen to one of them as a continuation of the Search. I doubt you can find a worse artist than Blood on the Dance Floor though.
| Snowdog808 Hi Code. Do you plan on hearing any Kenny G albums in the Search for the Worst? I can't say he's the worst artist I've heard, but I agree with the consensus that he is not only one of the worst jazz artists, but one of the worst in popular music in general too.
| CaliggyJack Sorry bout that. I'm usually accused of being the very thing you described so I just assumed it was me you were talking about. Downright silly of me and I apologize, I usually don't jump to conclusions like that.
| Sevengill beats me. guys like to be horny and girls like to be offended?
| Sevengill idk, posting weiner pics already sets you back a good ways. not that it would bother me xD
| Sevengill yeah and don't make fun of my cat sounds sheesh, I get confused sometimes okay
| Sevengill yeah that was Ivan Shapovalov's masterwork, their manager. then they terminated his contract, had him run over by a truck in the video for Not Gonna Get Us, Yulia got knocked up, and ten years later they performed their big comeback show at the Socci olympics, only to break up again a week later.
| Sevengill haha I had the biggest crush on Yulia for years but she turned out to be kind of a bitch. no sweat, I've still got a signed copy of the Beliy Plaschik single
| Sevengill Dead Dead in the bed. It's from Until the Light Takes Us.
| TalonsOfFire I jammed Chelsea Wolfe's latest three, and they were all fantastic. I think Abyss might be my favorite, she really goes the extra mile on it.
| TalonsOfFire Cool sounds like my kinda thing, I'll let ya know what I think
| TalonsOfFire I've heard a bunch of songs by Chelsea Wolfe and love them, the stuff I've heard from Abyss in particular were very cool, but never got around to trying a full-length album. I'll check the one you mentioned first.
| TalonsOfFire Shadows does stuff to me, it's so captivating and profound. I've never heard anything like it. I love the first few songs on Perdition City, but the second half is a little underwhelming as a result until Nowhere/Catastrophe. Dead City Centers would be amazing but there's that awful screeching dog whistles that I have to skip.
| TalonsOfFire At this point I'm a much bigger fan of shoegazing and post-rock than alt. metal which is probably why I prefer their lighter side in discovering the band this late. White Pony is fantastic though, I like all their stuff. Atmospheric is the perfect word for Ulver, they're incredible. Shadows of the Sun or Bergtatt would be my favorites by them, Perdition City is up there too.
| TalonsOfFire Yeah u have a very recognizable username, and nice. I love all their songs, but they do go overboard with interludes on Aenima and 10X Days. I recently discovered Deftones, but prefer their latest 4. Nice Ulver ratings too. My review for Gore is still flagged which is cool, probably my most viewed one. It's their most subtle and definitely needs a lot of listens to sink in, a lot of people with low ratings have judged it too quickly by the nature of some comments. You jammed it yet?
| TalonsOfFire That Diamond Eyes rating :/ and nice prof pic haha. I think we messaged about Tool a while ago, you ever get around to jamming them?
| Jots i liked it. can check my review of it if u wanna know my full thoughts
| Jots i'd listen to that tbh
| Jots "black wrong - ... Is Domed" haven't heard that one ; ]
| ASnideReturns Ukulele tracks won't be released until the album drops man.
| SachikoM If you couldn't tell already, my communication skills are not the most refined. It's a bit hampering.
| SachikoM I'm largely emotionless, so I don't know.
| SachikoM well, she is way too good for me, so I feel like I'm holding her back y'know. :/
| SachikoM Well, I actually have a gf, I'm just playing with you tbh.
| SachikoM How do I fill myself when there is nothing to fill me?
| SachikoM but I'm empty. I look inward and see nothing.
| SachikoM ineedsomelove. all of this negativity is killing me.
| SachikoM No it's not. Soz about the grad jokes btw.
| SachikoM More valuable than your first car.
| Rowan5215 Damn I can add you if you like it's fairly small group
| Rowan5215 are you in the sputnik group by any chance?
| Judio! I did yeah. Check the list I put the albums everybody was assigned in the descriptions.
| CoolCalmJoe Hey, you linked me that video at a time in my life that it couldn't have been more profound. I thought it was just a random link at first but everything he said just started to hit me harder and harder. Thank you.
| ADanceReturns Tbh I don't know you but you seem like a very intellectual women :)
| Abscurat Hey, man! In case you missed it: https://septa.bandcamp.com/album/destroyer
| spookynewghostfriend hey thanks for reviewing weight of coronation once again, i never ever did urs lOL what was it i forget
| TalonsOfFire If you're into TGOO check out Thantifaxath if you haven't yet, I wrote a review for it too. Very underrated black metal from this year
| TalonsOfFire Haha most likely, not much just been jamming a lot of the new Opeth and The Great Old Ones. Have you fallen in love with any albums this year yet? Those are probably among my AOTYs
| TalonsOfFire That's prob a good idea, let it sink in fully before diving into the next one
| TalonsOfFire EULOGY THIRD EYE EULOGY H ARE BEST ON AENIMA! THERE!
| TalonsOfFire Sorry my message got cut off, what I meant to say was that 46
| TalonsOfFire Yeah the first song's not one of the standouts, and there's tons of filler tracks. Eulogy, H., 46
| Mongi123 I love them both equally man. They both have some of the most engaging storytelling in any medium imo. Bioshock 2 isn't too shabby either.
| Mongi123 Haha nice, bioshock is amazing.
| laughingman22 wow glad you enjoyed it. by the way nice Bauhaus and siouxsie and the banshees ratings, not many people on here that appreciate that type of music
| laughingman22 thank you. Been trying to find some good recent metal
| Jennifer22 Thanks! I'm going for a mix of Post-Rock with natural sounds and some light guitar here and there. I'm really influenced by Godspeed You! Black Emperor as of late.
| Jennifer22 True. I need to figure out if I use an electric what tuning I want this in, was going to go with Drop D but it's so overused and I don't want my music to come off like that.
| Jennifer22 Yeah, I have to try I guess, it's just writing guitar parts takes ages for me.
| Jennifer22 I'm not confident enough in my guitar skills to make my own music. The Matchbox songs I'm thinking of covering are either Unwell or Bright Lights.
| Jennifer22 Yeah, it's a tie between that Emarosa song I linked and between two songs by Matchbox Twenty. I need to get better at producing material and learn at least acoustic guitar.
| MrElmo Just love the L4D's makes for awesome mods and multiplayer, as for HL we can only wait (damn not even one teaser). Anyway stay trve and see you around mate
| Jennifer22 It's a tie right now between Emarosa and Matchbox Twenty. I really want to cover a Matchbox Twenty song, but one note in the song is lower than my usual register and is really hard to sing.
| MrElmo Half-Life 3 (if it ever comes out) will probably be really really damn good but people will be dissapointed whatever happens because of the wait and hype building, in any case there's always gonna be Left 4 Dead 3 to ease the patience.
| MrElmo I can't remember, I think it's independant from it.... at worst getting half-life two is also damn worth it ;)
| MrElmo Also If you're into horror games have you played the half-life mod Cry of Fear? (sequel to Afraid of Monsters) If not it's a really really good indie horror/survival game and I'd really recommend it if you've had trouble with recent horror games!
| MrElmo Ha ok, considered a few times to get into 12 (as it's the only one I can play since I don't own a PS). Yeah I played Bioshock 1 (a perfect game imo!) and loved the soundtrack, also loved Deus Ex but oddly didn't pay much attention to the music. Cool didn't know I could dl the SH soundtracks like that, I'll be sure to look into that thanks! (hope they don't come with the sounds of the monsters, never want to hear that freak with the sound of rollers ever again!).
| Jennifer22 Yep. I think I'm going to cover this song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8q52lrKMV8
| Jennifer22 To be honest, none really. I just got into singing on a whim. Practiced for a couple years and finally feel like recording it.
| Jennifer22 I can send a demo when my microphone gets mailed back to me if you want. I don't really know what I sound like.
| Jennifer22 Thanks! If you can learn basic chords we could do the collaboration if you wanted to. I really just want to test out my voice and how I've worked on it.
| MrElmo Still it's always cool to see someone paying attention to game scores, what would be the best soundtracks you've heard mate? Also lots of metal too, might check into that Horn of Rhino album you reviewed cuz it looks good...
| Jennifer22 Same thing really, I'm trying to find someone to make an acoustic collaboration with, but I can't find anyone who plays acoustic guitar. That's my main focus at the moment.
| MrElmo Nice tits then, got to follow The Last of Us on let's plays and damn some of the best writting I've seen in video games in terms of scenario (even though the game is far from perfect to me). Yeah I spent about 6 months without buying any games and just recently I bought about 7 games secondhand (gotta say it felt damn good) with Hitman and Bioshock Infinite being my favorite recent games. Ah ok for the soundtracks, gotta say the only ff I played was the second one and I ****ing hated it :/
| Jennifer22 Yeah, personal taste really is the big thing here. I don't view anyone's tastes as lower, regardless of whether they enjoy Beethoven or Brokencyde. But how have you been, how has Sputnikmusic been?
| Jennifer22 I'm Jennifer (obviously) and thanks! I don't really view myself as having better taste, I just love music in general. I don't feel bands are bad unless they claim they don't take their music seriously (exceptions being comedy styled bands), I just feel individual albums are poor in themselves.
| Jennifer22 Yeah, I have so much music to rate that I listened to while I was away.
| Jennifer22 Thanks! I actually didn't have internet, I wasn't chased off by Sputnik.
| MrElmo Cheers I always like talking about games even though I rarely have enough money to keep up with all the new releases, you also seem to know your gaming especially horror? And damn never seen someone with so much "soundtrack" in their pie chart!
| YakNips Agreed hard. The Robot With Human Hair 2 is soooo good though
| YakNips Yeah, but I still hope the new album has some better songs
| YakNips Death Star is great. And yeah so is that song :D Glad you dig DGD
| YakNips It's really hard for me to rank them, but my fave is probably Downtown Battle Mountain.
| YakNips You have heard correctly sir
| SugarCubeEmpire it kind of depends. I mostly just pirate a heap of albums onto my ipod and then end up listening to them when I feel like it. I end up procrastinating a lot though. which is dumb. Your method seems a lot more effective hhaha.
| SugarCubeEmpire it's like pop punk, but without the punk it claims it contains. Just s***ty pop punk basically haha. Yeah, it's also cool to see the development in styles I've enjoyed in the past.
| SugarCubeEmpire aw they're not that terrible. Only a little cringe-worthy hahha. Okay, they're pretty bad. I imagine I would have loved them out of ignorance if I had discovered them before sputnik. the first band I really 'got' into was mcr actually, so not really too shameful. But there was a period where I tried to enjoy kind of summery pop-'punk' in order to be a cool kid. I prefer to think of it as a time of musical growth. Or just not remember it at all.
| SugarCubeEmpire hahaha. I don't really know much about Aiden, apart from how everyone apparently hates them, so I've just decided to stay faaaar away. And don't worry ahah, I've had embarrassing tastes in music in the past. Unfortunately slightly more recent past, since I only branched out of the s***ty-pop-punk-phase about four months ago. /shudders
| SugarCubeEmpire Pencey were an...odd band to say the least. He's got an odd voice. They play a mix of sorta pop-punk/-alt-rock?/-hardcore?/I-don't-even-know. Lots of fun, if you like/can put up his voice though. they have a very unique sound.
| SugarCubeEmpire I had actually! Not heard the best reviews of it though. I'll check it out if you think it's worth it. The guy actually had a band before his mcr days called Pencey Prep, who had one album that's pretty good fun too. He's an odd vocalist.
| SugarCubeEmpire oh yeah! demolition lovers, vampires with never hurt you and early sunsets over monroeville are probably my favourites on bullets. they're just so creative and experimentful. though most of the album is sweet. I love skylines and turnstiles.
| SugarCubeEmpire yeah, tbp went a little overboard with the band's vision. Cancer was a bit of a flop. but there were some great songs on there. I do think three cheers really defines the band for what it was- Bullets had a lovely rawness to the lyrics and sound, too. they weren't pressured into marketing to teenage girls at that point, and could experiment how they liked with songs like headfirst for halos or that one cool vampire one.
| SugarCubeEmpire the used- Artwork is surprisingly good too, though it takes a couple of listens to appreciate. And I think mcr's first album is way under-loved, it's so much fun. With Danger Days, I admire Gerard's vision and artsiness, and it's got some songs I think are up there with their best, but I felt like the whole futuristic-pop-rebel-synth thing kind of drowned out what made the band who they were. it was still pretty fun, if you didn't take it too seriously. Conventional Weapons was freaking ace tho.
| SugarCubeEmpire Mcr and the used are my nostalgic guilty pleasures :') and a bit of mediocre pop punk. though I still totally respect the used, they're still pretty decent. and I think I had a breaking benjamin and 30stm phase somewhere in there, if only for diary of jane and The Kill. Loved those songs a little too much.
| SugarCubeEmpire Yeah, I'm only really listening to white lies, I heard they went downhill mega-ly. I don't really know the Classic Crime very well either- Billy Talent's vocalist is nearly unbearable, but in an unbearably good way. I just adore their first self titled thing. Nostalgia or something silly.
| SugarCubeEmpire ahah yeah I have so many freaking bands on the go it ain't funny. I don't really know fear before that well honestly, but I'll take your word for it and put their s/t on my long list for later! I only recently got into/into music so I'm just trying to digest as many bands as possible. Right now, hmm... the Classic Crime, Billy Talent and Lovehatehero are my last listens.
| SugarCubeEmpire I'll definitely hunt it down then! and I've been meaning to get into more of the cure, they're ****ing brilliant. thank you very much!
| SugarCubeEmpire I've actually got Doppleganger already, and I'm really enjoying it! The Cure are great. I've only really heard bits and pieces of their other albums as well as Imaginary Boys though. I'll probably begin with dgd's most popular album, assuming it's the most accessible, and if I dig the sound then track down their other albums.
| DinosaurJones Oh, that makes sense. THEN YES, I am excited for XV.
| DinosaurJones I haven't actually checked out/heard anythign about XV. I'm still waiting for FFXIII - Lightning's Return and FF Versus XIII... though I don't know if that second will ever come out.
| DinosaurJones Haven't you ever played PaRappa the Rappa? YOU GOTTA BELIEVE!!
| sehguh just dont like talking about music anymore, especially since i dislike most of the stuff hyped on this site man
| sehguh just dont do sputnik nomore bro
| paxman Yes sir, back in the day but I never really gave them a proper listen. You like them?
| paxman Oh, and thanks for rating Major/Minor a 5. Thrice need all the support they can get because they're an underground indie band with not very many fans.
| paxman Pretty brutal. I stopped cold turkey. But my support group is nice and there's a hot chick in it and I brought my guitar to one of the meetings. I told her to pretend I was serenading her and she said it was beautiful.
| paxman I'm not listening to music this year
| paxman So you should rate it a 5
| paxman Ya bish. Yeah, I love major/minor. Blinded and Words In the Water are amazing
