Far and away Judas Priest's most enjoyable, cohesive and well-crafted album. I'd pick this over Painkiller any day.
King Crimson Discipline
King Crimson In the Court of the Crimson King
King Crimson Red
Kyuss Welcome to Sky Valley
Madvillain Madvillainy
Mastodon Blood Mountain
Mastodon Crack the Skye
I first heard this when I was 15 and it's only gotten better and better as I've aged with it. Serious contender for my favourite album ever.

Metallica Kill 'Em All
Metallica Ride the Lightning
Miles Davis Kind of Blue
Minor Threat Out of Step
Opeth Still Life
Opeth Blackwater Park
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon
A true classic. The themes of getting older, greed and mental health are timeless, and arguably the latter is more relevant now than it ever has been. It also deserves some credit for being produced and mixed to a higher quality than many mainstream albums of today, despite its age.

Mastodon Leviathan
Mastodon Hushed and Grim
I'm really enjoying Hushed and Grim so far, it's quite a surprising shift away from the catchier stuff on the last few albums. There's a lot to digest so it'll take a bit longer to formulate my overall thoughts. Also the production is being completely overblown here, it isn't their best sounding album but it absolutely isn't on the same level as Gold & Grey.

Not only is it refreshing for a band as big as Arctic Monkeys to make such a radical creative departure, it's so satisfying for it to also pay off. The band easily could have tried to make AM part 2, but instead, they took their sound in a radically different direction that I'm sure will be looked back on more fondly than it is now.

Metallica Load
I'll admit I'm a little bit of a Metallica stan but I genuinely don't understand the hate this album gets. This is the best 'experiment' by any of the Big 4 and the only one that's actually worth returning to. Knuckle dragging metalheads are denying themselves a great album by ignoring it for not being thrash and I wonder how much of a chance Load's detractors have actually given it.

Queens of the Stone Age Villains
The quite intense criticism that this album has faced continues to bemuse me. I agree that the production isn't all there, but it really isn't that bad. Even what I considered the weakest songs (TWYUTD and Hideaway) have grown on me a little bit.

My thoughts on this are basically the same as Prequelle when it released, with a few songs I really like (Kaisarion and Watcher In The Sky) and some I really don't care for (Darkness At The Heart Of My Love). Twenties is so insanely goofy too and I still don't know if love it or hate it

Not ashamed to admit I do get some enjoyment out of this legend. A lot of the lyrics are a bit goofy but I would take them over a lot of cringy "metal 4 lyfe!!!" motifs of other bands. Mostly brought down by the awful snare, muddy production and weaker songwriting in the second half

Arctic Monkeys AM
AM starts off fairly strong but towards the end it's pretty uninteresting. Nothing really grabs my attention again as the rest of the album just feels tepid, bland and superficial, trying to grab onto as much mainstream appeal as possible.
Black Country, New Road Ants From Up There
Black Sabbath Technical Ecstasy
Catfish and the Bottlemen The Balance
Cavalera Conspiracy Pandemonium
Children of Bodom Relentless Reckless Forever
Daft Punk Random Access Memories
I could never put my finger on why I was unimpressed with this until somebody said it feels like a compilation of songs by several other artists with Daft Punk featuring on them all.
David Bowie Tonight
David Bowie Black Tie White Noise
Death From Above 1979 Outrage! Is Now
Dream Theater Black Clouds and Silver Linings
Dream Theater Master of Puppets
Electric Wizard Wizard Bloody Wizard
A bit amateurish and lacks the raw, punishing aggression listeners would expect from Electric Wizard. There are a few highpoints though so I wouldn't go as far as saying outright that it's bad.

Besides the cringy, InfoWars-tier lyrics that everyone has already laughed at, the music itself isn't even that good. I feel like I've already heard these riffs arranged into better songs before.

Stoner Stoners Rule
A bit bland, generally lacks the groove/energy found in quality stoner rock. Brant Bjork sounds a bit bored and I don't think the production does this any favours either. Band could have potential in the future though so I'll keep an eye on them

Megadeth The World Needs a Hero
