This album is vicious and delicious. Not sure what's triggering me so hard on this one, it's just like eating a big juicy wagyu steak, hitting all the right spots. |

As a long time fan of the genre, can?t believe I haven?t had a good listen to this band before. Will definitely be having a listen to their back catalog. This is a really solid punk album with a bit of ska scattered throughout. |

Another really solid release from the guys. Smoko was definitely the pinnacle in terms of melodies and song structure, average song length here is a lot shorter. No surprises here, just the classic crisp Frenzal sound and humour. |

Another really strong release from Millencolin. For a band that I felt fell off their game after their first four releases with three mediocre albums, True Brew and now SOS have been an excellent redemption. |

This really surprised me. I saw these guys when they toured Australia with Strung Out and they were decent then. This is no doubt their best effort yet. Short tracks, fast and energetic with an underlying hardcore vibe throughout. In props to them they are also touring Australia again in the next couple of months and charging $20 (about US$13) which will be the cheapest international band I've ever seen! |

These guys have always had a really good sound. I feel like they've finally nailed it with this album. There's plenty of good skate punk coming out if you look around hard enough but certainly not in the vein of the late 90s. Frenzal has been holding up the top end of the Aussie scene for years so it's great to see bands like The Decline putting out such a strong release! |
