Music Origins

These are bands that got me into music. Reminds me how far of branched out from there, it's almost incredible. What got you guys into music?
1Judas Priest
Screaming for Vengeance
2Iron Maiden
Powerslave
3The Offspring
Smash

Sometimes I am surprised I had an offspring phase. Whatever, got me into punk and hardcore. Twas a start as a young 12 year old.
4Megadeth
Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?
5Title Fight
Floral Green
6Touche Amore
Is Survived By
7Deafheaven
Sunbather

Say what you will, this band got me into black metal. Did I know post black metal was even a thing yet? Not necessarily, this was like 3 years ago (around when I got into Panopticon as well).
8Panopticon
Autumn Eternal
9Death
The Sound of Perseverance

This got me into my favorite music genre, this album specifically. Well and Those Whom the Gods Detest, but damn this holds a place in my heart.
10Nile
Those Whom the Gods Detest
11Tool
Ænima
12I Fight Dragons
The Near Future

I once had a huge pop-punk phase, basically only this stuck through.
13 Angra
Nova Era
14Counterparts
Prophets

This band helped me through some shitty times. Also got me more into hardcore and metalcore.
