Headphones advice

Looking to finally invest in some decent headphones. My budget is £100 ($145). Obviously, I'm considering the Audio-Technica ATH-M50's, also eyeing up Beyerdynamic DT770. My main worry about these phones is that they seem geared towards sound engineering/audio production. Though I am keen on dabbling into this as a hobby at some point, the lack of time and money doesn't really allow at it the moment. This could be considered my first step into getting into music production, however I'm mainly looking for some headphones for listening to music, like on the laptop/iPod etc. Also might get a headphone amp. Any advice/recs appreciated. Below is music I've been digging lately.
1Massive Attack
Ritual Spirit

Great EP, wasn't too keen on their last full length, but this was a great return to form. The featured artists are great, especially Young Fathers. Only downside is that the short-length makes me wanting more.
2Ghost (SWE)
Meliora

Oh man, I've avoided these guys for years for some reason, but all the acclaim behind this album forced me to check it out. And boy, is it some catchy shit. Great melodies.

Have You In My Wilderness

Was a fan after stumbling upon Loud CIty Song a couple of years ago. Was expecting more moody ambiance, but was pleasantly surprised at how warm this new one sounded
4Faith No More
Sol Invictus

Faith No More is probably my favourite band ever. This album was a weird one from me, felt so surreal listening to a new FNM album after re-listening to Angel Dust etc for the past 10 or so years. Sunny Side Up, Cone of Shame and Matador were standouts for me. The guitarwork and drums are so fucking tight on this album. The track listing could have been better, Motherfucker would have worked a lot better if it was the opening song of the album.
5Grimes
Visions

I was in a weird place music-wise in 2014-2015. I stopped listening to albums, preferring to listen to individual tracks here and there, or putting my library on shuffle during my commute to work or lectures. I've only just realised a couple of months ago I listened to a total of 5 albums in the past two years. One day, I stopped by a second-hand music store in my town, and picked up this album on a whim. I did not expect my interest in music to reignite the way it did when I first played it. I can't even pick a weak song on this LP, even the trippy ambient sounds in the second half of the album had me humming away at inopportune times at work.
6Tool
Aenima

What can I say about this album/band that has not already been said. This album is a landmark album to me in how it influenced my music taste.
7St. Vincent
St. Vincent

So groovy, the guitarwork is masterful. The crunchy production is addictive. Digital Witness, Bring Me Your Loves and Huey Newton were the standouts, but everytime I play one song, I end up playing the whole album.
8Grimes
Art Angels

Really loved this album, it's the type of pop music I can get behind. Not a fan of 'California' or 'Easily', but goddamnit do they get stuck in your brain for a while. Some quality bangers on here, Kill V. Maim, Butterfly, Venus Fly, World Princes Pt 2. For a while, I preferred the album version of Realiti to the demo, but both are fucking quality. The demo version is probably my preferred one though. The track listing seems a bit off here though, the album has no flow. Still, only a minor gripe, as I tend to play this album on shuffle now. Looking forward to seeing her live in March
9FKA Twigs
LP1

The production on this is sublime. The beats are sexy af, and sound amazing on a good setup.
10Flying Lotus
Cosmogramma

Revisiting this album as I believe my taste as matured since I last dismissed years it ago. Did not get it all those years ago, but I'm glad I can finally appreciate it now. Find myself spinning this more often nowadays, especially during my commute. Definitely needs multiple listens.
