5.0 classic
A Lot Like Birds DIVISI
Animal Flag LP
We got some emo, we got some post-punk, post-rock, shoegaze. It's a diverse album with beautiful passages and lyrics about pain, recovery, religion and relationships. Peaceful and engaging. Might give this a proper review later on.

This was an instant classic for me. Definitely their best album since Crack The Skye. Probably their best album period. Fantastic riffs, fantastic structures, beautiful tones. I'm convinced the singles that were released are actually the weaker songs on this album.

this. sounds fantastically energetic and funky! Love it!
Cattle Decapitation Death Atlas
Insane record. Insane vocals, screeching guitars, pummeling drums, and girthy bass with incredible production and a concept of "human intelligence" destroying the human race all makes for CD'd best record. Not as catchy as their previous records, but that's legit the only drawback and it doesn't even count if you don't consider their previous records. Best death metal album of the year, possibly even decade. Possibly best album of the year for me. This shit truly blew me away.

I'm not one to give proper reviews, but this is one of the best albums I've ever listened to. Beautiful instrumentals that work seemlessly when it sounds like they shouldn't. Songs are written masterfully that make the listener want to listen more. Great album.

I actually really enjoyed this. Pop's flows are varied and aggressive. Some beats are heavy but are countered with songs that are more stripped. The whole album flows nicely and it does it good job summing up his style.

My biggest issue is that the drums were so obviously recorded using an electronic kit. I'm not aware of the situation in the studio, but using an e-kit really takes away a good chunk of personality and emotion. Everything else though is pretty flawless.

This one wreaks of the same disease that Of Mice & Men's last album does. Each individual song is great, but they all kinda mend together when put next to each other as an album. Trying to think back to it, it's not all that memorable at all.

Edit: Has slowly grown on me since release. Bumped to 3.5. Songs are still better as stand-alone singles, but the production is great imo and a nice balance of core, djent, and prog

For those of you who actually dig this, I'm seriously praying fro you. Because this record is bad. Seriously bad. The vocalist can't find a proper footing in any of the songs, riffs are a borefest, production clips left and right every so often, and the drum rhythms are nothing special. Seriously guys get over yourselves.
