5.0 classic
Caligula's Horse In Contact
I haven't heard any albums that evoke so much emotion. Dream the Dead hits goddamn hard every time. HAND SHAPE STONE. 11/10
Caligula's Horse Rise Radiant
Caligula's Deer??... Caligula's Stag?... Anyhow it's a fantastic album though slightly lacking the punch that In Contact had, and some very particular melodic choices in the vocals bother me as hell... Damn it Jim!
Disillusion Ayam
Karnivool Sound Awake
Super tight songwriting and musicianship. I'm glad they didn't stay with the Themata sound.
La Dispute Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair
mewithoutYou Catch For Us the Foxes
mewithoutYou Brother, Sister
Ne Obliviscaris Citadel
It's hard to express how stellar this album is. The first half of Pyrrhic drags a tad, but otherwise flawless.
Opeth Ghost Reveries
Oddly I feel this one is better than Blackwater Park. Not many new ideas but the execution seems better somehow.
Slice the Cake Odyssey to the West
The Dear Hunter Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise
The Dear Hunter is amazingly consistent and consistently amazing. Waves is such a ridiculously good song.
The Dear Hunter Act V: Hymns with the Devil in Confessional
I swear this band just keeps getting better with every album
The Mars Volta De-Loused in the Comatorium
Not a single song of this album that isn't amazing. That instrumental section in Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt is giving me life
The Mars Volta Frances the Mute
In awe of this absolute unit of an album. Cassandra Gemini is a massive beast. 11/10
The Ocean Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic

4.5 superb
An Abstract Illusion Woe
Brand New The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
Caligula's Horse Bloom
A well written and highly enjoyable album in its own right, but more so a blueprint of what the band will become and polish to perfection in the following years
Caligula's Horse Charcoal Grace
Coheed and Cambria In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
I still don't get why they're considered to be prog rock...
Coheed and Cambria The Second Stage Turbine Blade
The production is quite bad, it's not outstanding musically, but it still works somehow.
Coheed and Cambria From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
Cult of Luna The Long Road North
Disillusion Back to Times of Splendor
Dvne Etemen Ænka
Dvne Voidkind
Fair to Midland Arrows and Anchors
ISIS Oceanic
Katatonia The Fall of Hearts
Apparently, they have not run out of ideas after 9 albums.
La Dispute Wildlife
Leprous Malina
mewithoutYou [Untitled]
Ne Obliviscaris Portal of I
Thought more meandering and less consistent than its successor, still a great piece of music.
Ne Obliviscaris Exul
Opeth Still Life
Probably the most subtle and gentle absolute fucking riff-fest ever released.
Opeth Blackwater Park
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here
Rivers of Nihil Where Owls Know My Name
Super tight production and lots of ideas here. Might be the best mixed album I've ever heard
Slugdge Esoteric Malacology
Soen Lotus
It's obvious how much the songwriting and originality improved from previous albums. Hats off
Thank You Scientist Stranger Heads Prevail
Well, it has grown on me for sure. Amazing from start to finish.
The Dear Hunter Act II: The Meaning of, & All Things Regarding Ms. Leading
This is a 9.5/10... If only they put a bit more effort in songs such as The Church and The Dime or Black Sandy Beaches, still it's a substantial album.
The Ocean Pelagial
The Ocean Phanerozoic II: Mesozoic | Cenozoic
Thursday Full Collapse
Thursday No Devolucion
Tool Lateralus
I hate to say this, but Lateralus actually slaps.
Ulcerate Stare Into Death and Be Still
Vektor Black Future
Vektor Terminal Redux

4.0 excellent
Agent Fresco Destrier
This is like the Pop-Leprous. Amazing vocals and melodies but also catchy asf.

Be'lakor Vessels
Behemoth The Satanist
Between the Buried and Me Colors II
Birds in Row Gris Klein
Brand New Deja Entendu
Caligula's Horse The Tide, the Thief and River's End
Coheed and Cambria The Afterman: Descension
My favorite post-GAIBSIV album. The second half has some cheesy, yet enjoyable songs, but the first half is great. Gravity's is so well-written and powerful damn
Coheed and Cambria Vaxis I: The Unheavenly Creatures
While the first half is generally underdeveloped (especially Unheavenly Creatures, that song is so bad), the second half gets better and better up to Night-Time Walkers. Then it gets lame again...
Coheed and Cambria Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind
Cult of Luna Somewhere Along the Highway
Cult of Luna A Dawn to Fear
Death The Sound of Perseverance
When I heard this album first I really didn't like Chuck's voice. I still don't like it but the whole album is killer otherwise
Death Symbolic
Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory
dredg El Cielo
Every Time I Die Low Teens

mewithoutYou It's All Crazy! It's All False! It's All A Dream! It's Alright!
mewithoutYou Pale Horses
Native Construct Quiet World
This stuff is really dynamic, changing mood every half minutes. The heavy parts doesn't sound heavy at all but still 8.5/10
Ne Obliviscaris Hiraeth
Ne Obliviscaris Urn
They mostly just reused their previous ideas here. It's a great album but nothing new really
Opeth Morningrise
Opeth My Arms, Your Hearse
Opeth Watershed
Pain of Salvation Remedy Lane
The most personal and immersive PoS album, one cannot listen to the whole album without being touched a little.
Pain of Salvation In the Passing Light of Day
The last song saves the album pretty much. Plus lyrically this is one of their strongest.
Persefone Aathma
It's excellent musically, but I wish they explored some different sounds. 80% of the album sounds pretty much the same :/
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd Animals
Pigs lacks variety for 11 minutes runtime, but it's certainly a classic album in a strict sense.
Porcupine Tree Deadwing
I love this album but why they had to leave out Half-Light and those other great songs from the original release
Porcupine Tree Fear of a Blank Planet
Protest the Hero Fortress
Refused The Shape Of Punk To Come
Rishloo Living as Ghosts with Buildings as Teeth
Riverside Shrine Of New Generation Slaves
This is an 8.5/10... Full of great atmospheric songs but somewhat less engaging and feels less sincere than its successor.
Riverside Love, Fear and the Time Machine
This is probably their strongest effort both musically and emotionally, which is quite something considering their discography. 9.5/10
Rolo Tomassi Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It
Slice the Cake The Man With No Face
Slugdge Dim and Slimeridden Kingdoms
Soen Tellurian
Steven Wilson The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories)
Steven Wilson Hand. Cannot. Erase.
Thank You Scientist The Perils of Time Travel
Quite great for an EP. The songwriting might be even better than some of the later albums.
The Butterfly Effect Final Conversation of Kings
The Mars Volta Amputechture
Criminally underrated Volta album, super creative and electic. HUMANS AS ORNAMENTS HUMANS AS ORNAMENTS HUMANS AS ORNAMENTS

I still don't really understand this album after quite a lot listens. but it's definitely creative so I'm gonna give it 7.5/10 whatever.
Disillusion The Liberation
Dream Theater Train of Thought
Earthside A Dream In Static
If only the second half would be as good as the first. A surprisingly good and refreshing debut album, can't wait for their second one.
