And this is true for all the 10 tracks of the album: each of them is a masterpiece. Other famous bands of that period now sound dated, but "Doot-Doot" will remain in the heart of those who loved it at first listen, indeed hearing it is always a new discovery. Such a work can hardly be replicated, and in fact the second album was a flop that led to the dissolution of the band, reformed later as the techno group named Underworld. |

| One of the most underrated records in rock history. It is usually considered a not too successful experiment in finding the group's personal style. In my opinion it is their masterpiece, while the subsequent production is a mannerist, energetic medium-good level country-rock, but nothing more. The irresistibly enthralling acoustic sound of this album (which will later be found only in the song "Listen to the Music", not surprisingly become their big number) is instead absolutely original and unrepeatable. |
