| But really though, I know its been a while since you've heard a new FNM album, but try to think back. Did you really think any of their stuff was "brilliant" the first time you heard it, or did you have to listen to it a few times for it to sink in? The first time I heard it "Angel Dust" I was like wtf is this. The first time I heard King For a Day, I was pretty underwhelmed, but it grew on me. rJust give this album a chance. Its not as mediocre as it sounds on first listen. Their newfound subtlety kind of works for them. It's no Angel Dust, but was anyone really expecting it to be? |

| Holy shit this band is way too emotionally intense to be sitting through this entire thing. This is coming from someone who has listened to Swans "Soundtracks For the Blind" in one sitting multiple times. After I downloaded this, I ended up having to split this thing up into the albums they were originally on so I could properly listen to it little by little. If you can really listen to all 89 minutes of this in one sitting though, I applaud you. I really do. |
