Atmospheric black metal meets... neo-classical dungeon synth, and the main instruments are the synths! Gorgeous, mystical, cold... this is a shiny hidden gem.		4.8

Lunar Spells Sacraments of Necromantical Empires
This was a stepdown from the previous one, even the production felt a bit boring. Still a very-very solid atmoblack from the Greek blacksters. (Who yet again forgot that they're not from Finland... this is very melodic!)		3.5

Order of Nosferat The Absence of Grace
Embracingly melancholyic, synth-dominant sound (even some dungeon synth tracks too) and very sharp (quite DSBM-ish) riffs. The atmosphere this album evokes is exactly my type. Perhaps the vocals felt here and there a bit repetitive. But it's so charming...! Did I fall under vampyric spell?		4.5

Black Label Society Hangover Music Vol.6
This feels more close to his solo stuff (the Book of Shadows albums), since it's slow-paced, the acoustic guitar is in the spotlight, very melodic stuff. I'm a big fan of his solo albums, so this was an easy win to me.		4.0

  • Futures i've been checking the soundoffs lately, found a few cool underseen bands that way! got me in the habit of writing them myself, even wrote one for order of nosferat. just 10 minute quick thoughts, might expand into reviews again. can't wait to read that review man!
