This deserves much more praise here. They’ve taken everything that made them great on previous releases and
elevated it to a much higher level. It’s like listening to King Crimson one moment, then The Melvins, mixed with
lots of progressive flourishes. Best of all, it all flows seamlessly and sounds massive.

Cavernous but also strangely beautiful, this album takes the framework of their previous releases and stretches it in to something much more abstract and rewarding. It would be a strong album even if it was purely instrumental, but the the female vocals and the way they weave their way out of each composition, really elevates this in to something special. My favourite release of 2023 so far.

Just an incredible way for him to finish his career and ultimately his time on this earth. It would be easy to go

Massive and ominous, Immoto is the perfect follow up to Derivae. They’ve managed to push the abstract

how well composed and integrated the cleaner sections are. The wildcard element is the vocals, which add a real
emotional weight to their sound and manage to elevate the quality of this album even further.

This was genuinely a struggle to get through. Forgetting the people behind this, the compositional quality is way rbelow their previous efforts. The first track, for example, is nowhere near engaging enough to justify 12 minutes rand tapers off with a completely flat outro. Much of this album is just mid paced, average black metal arpeggio rriffing that lacks dynamics and goes nowhere. The ?solos? are also pretty awful and ill conceived.
