Phantom Regiment's battery deserves a mention considering they raped everyone last year including the Blue Devils, which im not a fan of. I went to the DCI semi finals in theaters thing and the guy was talking about how Avant Garde the Blue Devils were, they really aren't.

And I haven't really followed DCI the past few years, I just recently started getting interested in it again, so I'm sure you're right haha. And yeah that's a pretty strange description of BD... |

07.21.11 | hahaha I was in a pretty awful band that had like 50 members total. We tried to do indoor line and got fucked over by our instructor, who had no clue what she was doing (incidentally, she claimed she was in The Blue Knights and Phantom.. I highly doubt it). I like to think I was a pretty decent snare player at the time though. |

07.21.11 | Cavies ftw. Samurai is probably one of my favorite shows ever, but 2008 was a great year for everyone in DCI. I play snare, but I'm just decent at it; definitely not DCI quality. |

07.21.11 | Yeah we're pretty lucky to have good staff. We've got some Cavs, Star of Indiana, and Crown as staff. Our indoor has gotten much better here in recent years. We made A semi finals at WGI this year. I'm sure if you built your chops up again, you would be fine |

07.24.11 | I know this thread is probably long over. But I have a lot of friends that have done it and my girlfriend is currently gone all summer marching. They all march/ marched Troopers. Really cool stuff. |

07.25.11 | When I was in drumline in high school, we spent a good 50% of our time ranting about how much we hated that movie. The shit they do in that movie is FAR from drum corps. They do that kinda shit (playing hip-hop covers and dancing) in the south but.. They don't get a whole lot of respect from people who follow drum corps. For the most part anyway... I hope. |

My school's finals show a few years ago. We didn't win that year, mainly because the show was just too fucking hard and we had too many young/inexperienced kids to pull it off. But still one of the only good videos of us. Still a cool show imo. I had a lot of fun with it |
