| Two minutes longer than Mirrored, when it feels 20 minutes shorter. Mirrored, while technically impressive, was overly repetitive and often pretty boring. Gloss Drop seems like it's from a different band - technical without testing my patience and catchy without feeling "sugary" (despite the album cover). I'd go as far as to call this THE Summer album of 2011. |
