Two minutes longer than Mirrored, when it feels 20 minutes shorter. Mirrored, while technically impressive, was overly repetitive and often pretty boring. Gloss Drop seems like it's from a different band - technical without testing my patience and catchy without feeling "sugary" (despite the album cover). I'd go as far as to call this THE Summer album of 2011.

"Bad Kids" gives me the impression that she is totally out of touch with who her fan base is. The section from "Bloody Mary" to "Electric Chapel" is ridiculously boring, while the rest ranges from decent ("Marry the Night," "Government Hooker") to kinda mostly good ("Judas," "Hair"). Overall, pretty disappointing though.

So sick of the "post-rock" influence trend in screamo right now. It all sounds the same. I could listen to this or I could listen to Iselia (or a million other bands) and wouldn't really be able to tell the difference. It's just BORING. Where's the ENERGY? Where's the PASSION? rOff Minor really needs to make a new album and remind everyone what proper screamo is.

This was VERY difficult to sit through for me. It was interesting and innovative for about
the length of the first track before becoming painfully monotonous. The Meshuggah
similarities occasionally cross over into plagiarism if you ask me, even for a djent band,
and many tracks lack any real melody at all. There might be something here if they can
subtract the identical Meshuggah guitar tones and add some life.
