    June 30 04:51 AM
  • BMDrummer there?s a decent chance, check Uologies if you wanna get a feel for it. Ginsong is probably the easiest to get into, people seem to like that one
    March 30 03:08 AM
  • Toad i don't think it really came through that much, i mean your complaints are legitimate
    March 23 12:48 AM
  • Toad otherwise this might get lost in the thread so i'll just post it here. i've had the exact same response to staff reviews before so i totally get it. it must be especially frustrating that you wrote a better review and got knocked off the spot. that does suck. my hate for xxx just happens to push me in direction of digging the review instead of being annoyed by its unprofessional manner
    March 22 09:59 PM
  • DungeonBoy Interesting music
    March 13 01:18 PM

    March 4 02:19 PM
  • BandNewbac ahh yes i have heard about that, might look into it more. although something about streaming services still doesnt sit that well with me (coming from the man that uses bandcamp i know)
    March 2 10:19 AM
  • BandNewbac No plans for anything like that in future, sorry. im not really well versed enough in that side of things
    March 1 11:05 PM
  • Conmaniac hey man when you get a chance give DinosaurJones your rec! i posted his genre preferences in the list. thanks (:
    September 28 09:55 PM
  • Papa Universe So I have to rec you something for the Con's Story Time comp. Here's my submission: Theoretical Girls - Theoretical Record
    September 27 10:47 PM
  • djr2 In regards to your planetarium review; this site does that for artists with significant releases to prevent troll ratings. It happened to kendrik lamar's "to pimp a butterfly" on release as well. It's not that the album is an instant classic; it's that Sufjan Stevens is a significant artist. :)

  • Jom I'm having the same issues - it's not just you. I have no projected ETA as to when things will be back to normal since it's outside the scope of what I can handle.
    May 30 08:43 PM
  • MercuryToHell Please don't apologise, it's fine! You didn't have any obligation and I really appreciate it!

  • RoundOnEndHiInMiddle no, a few of them are on musixmatch. the one for anoche, for instance: https://www.musixmatch.com/lyrics/Arca/Anoche/translation/english
    April 13 02:40 AM
  • RoundOnEndHiInMiddle oh there's no doubt it's very personal. the translated lyrics are actually pretty heartbreaking. probably my second favorite album of the year so far. i can see that changing but it's still wonderful
    April 12 07:59 PM
  • RoundOnEndHiInMiddle that's pretty interesting. i guess i was wrong on my prediction then, but it sure felt that way at first. i wonder why the other titles felt wrong to him?
    April 12 04:50 PM
  • CompostCompote Apologies, pal. I've been briefly coerced into a cult. But I'm back now. Anarchy and subversion ride again.
    April 9 08:16 PM
  • MercuryToHell Dude no rush, relax, all I'm interested in is you giving it a go!
    April 8 07:10 PM
  • CompostCompote Beethoven, at your service.
    April 4 11:42 PM
  • MercuryToHell It exists. https://messfx.bandcamp.com/album/eleven
    April 2 07:15 PM
  • MercuryToHell Hope I did you proud man. Terminal is magnificent.
    March 23 10:52 PM
  • MercuryToHell Already working on my Terminal one, I've actually got an album release coming up later in the year (maybe a month or two away) so tradesies? :P
    March 21 08:31 AM
  • SandwichBubble For Oxbow recs, I'd suggest An Evil Heat. It tends to be regarded as their best.
    March 20 05:44 PM
  • MercuryToHell It's just such a peculiar mid-section in comparison to the rest of it, really really dig it. And with regards to not liking your own work for a while, I feel exactly the same way with mine, I think it's just because you've been so overexposed to it for so long that you need a while to look at it with any objectivity.
    March 19 04:44 PM
  • MercuryToHell It's a tie between Black Wires, 17 8 and Sweetheart. I think the closer just grabs it for me just out of how original it is around the 4min mark!
    March 19 10:53 AM
  • MercuryToHell I first listened on Bandcamp before I started using Spotify, but now I've got it saved on there, so will check out Terminal ASAP too!
    March 18 05:30 PM
  • MercuryToHell Dude I've been listening to it on and off since I found you on here, it's such a solid piece of work - you should be so proud of it!
    March 18 12:02 AM
  • Sowing I have no idea how old you are, and that's never a factor. If anything it's just that we all felt we needed to see a little more from you. What you've submitted thus far was good enough to earn you a few votes, so just keep at it and I'd imagine you'll have as good a chance as anyone in the near future. Same advice I offered to FreddieDelaney, really.
    February 27 06:46 PM
  • TheSpaceMan My friend produces n s***, got me into him. Whispers pt 1 oh baby what a way to start an album
    February 15 07:44 PM
  • TheSpaceMan nice reppin' culprate, tripped sack to deliverance a few times (buddy of mine loves it)
    February 13 05:42 AM
  • owen soulseek
    January 24 05:46 PM
  • owen that xiu xiu upload was real
    January 23 06:11 PM
  • Frippertronics I do what I can, though the title would signify I've made some sort of progress in terms of writing.
    January 23 12:00 AM
  • Jom Hahaha, not a problem at all -- it's not often that people are enthusiastic about something. I wanted to make sure I was clear is all. If we're hoping for a January 4th publish date, then you should probably get a shout from one of the contribs around New Year's if you're needed.
    December 26 05:39 PM
  • laughingman22 Yeah I've noticed that too with the music I've made. Sometimes it sounds different when listened off of soundcloud, bandcamp, spotify whatever. You also got to make sure your software isn't doing some auto compressing or volume adjustments when rendering. I use Logic for most of my music making needs, and it has an annoying normalizing feature that would ruin tracks while rendering. That jab is pretty funny.
    October 28 06:40 AM
  • laughingman22 I liked it, I thought it was very well mixed and was really creative with the sampling. the thriller thing threw me through a loop at the end, I thought I accidentally skipped to another song.
    October 28 12:28 AM
  • laughingman22 Yo! Listening to your single on soundcloud right now
    October 27 12:39 AM
  • owen I hope to start an internet radioshow for experimental/eclectic music within a month. If it's punk/hardcore/metal/indie/whatever it'd be possible on an existing show, but for other genres you'll have to wait for the new show
    October 26 06:38 PM
  • TVC15 Your split with Volcanic Queen is awesome. Only started listening to Volcanic Queen a few weeks ago and I stumbled across your split today having noticed it from the list you posted today. Very interested to hear more from you ;]
    October 23 10:41 PM

    July 28 01:00 PM
  • MercuryToHell I'm sorry to hear that man, I really dig what you do, and I would love to work with you at some point but I don't wanna push you beyond what you're comfortable with! Thanks for letting me know anyways man :)
    May 7 09:26 AM
  • MercuryToHell I'm able to work on it whenever and naturally I'd love it ASAP but I'd rather wait for you to be properly ready with it than feel rushed!
    April 30 10:07 PM
  • patches Sweet! I've met no one who loves P!ATD, the Pickups, AND Death Grips. AND WE BOTH LIKE CLIPPING! I just messed up and hadn't put it in my list of favorite bands yet.
    April 28 11:19 PM
  • MercuryToHell No worries man ready whenever you are :)
    April 25 06:08 PM
  • MercuryToHell That's cool man I can be all over that s*** - e-mail me the vocal and I'll work on it over the weekend!
    April 23 07:50 PM
  • MercuryToHell Yeah I'm more than happy to do the mixing - when you say you were unable to match do you mean the pitch/range or just mixing?
    April 23 07:11 PM
  • MercuryToHell Hey you still interested in vocalising for me? I am SERIOUSLY digging 'Five Years Later'!
    April 23 12:13 AM
  • MercuryToHell Yeah :D thom.wilding@yahoo.co.uk
    April 19 05:58 AM
  • MercuryToHell Please do! I'm thrilled that you like it and I would love you to give it a go!
    April 18 09:49 PM
  • Yuli i sure can : )
    April 14 05:14 AM
  • ParkersCannon I liked the originality. It has a newer sensibility that wouldn't feel out of place on the radio but at the same time feels too good for radio.
    February 13 06:53 PM
  • ParkersCannon no problem!
    February 8 10:16 PM
  • BlacKapes omfg i cant believe i'm talking to you, you are amazing dude keep doing what you're doing, we need it for the good of humanity
    January 26 01:50 PM
  • Astral Abortis All good man, let me know when it goes up!
    January 16 07:37 AM
  • Asdfp277 no probs, and sorry for the rather low rating, I'm just trying to be honest and give your album a legit rating so you can learn and improve!
    October 30 02:35 AM
