| DarkNoctus yeah, giving it more space was important. the original mix had absolutely no space to breathe and it suffered immeasurably for it.

| DarkNoctus yeah i found that really odd. i matched it to the levels of the s/t. perhaps slightly lower. i also increased the high-end of the eq of the synth so they pierced through the guitar a bit more, so that you could make out the synth flourishes without having to increase them in the mix. i also increased the bass and increased the emphasis on low-end on the rhythm guitar. however, i kept the changes quite subtle because i wanted to respect the original mix as much as possible.

| DarkNoctus it's not perfect, there's more things i wanted to tweak but it wasn't possible due to him not breaking down the instrumental tracks further (all the drums were in one track for example) and my taste in sound may not match everyone's, but i hope it increases your enjoyment!

| DarkNoctus yeah, i can't argue with that really. i don't usually appreciate it when my taste is generalized by my love for one album, as i can be really bugged by the lack of proficiency in how one album sounds but not another, it's a total case-by-case basis, i like to go into every album i listen to unbiased and just come out with whatever opinion i have to come up with. :]

| DarkNoctus lol stop being so general about everything. i appreciate it when people play on time, obviously, but on that album i love it so much that it doesn't matter. you're just being intentionally awkward, you know liking music isn't a set of rules your taste has to follow.
