Nine Inch Nails The Downward Spiral
To me this is Emo. This is where i can get emotional and get angry. And then i can ease up towards the end of the album. This is a fantastic album in it's production. The music is as angst-ridden and frustrated as the lyrics. The music screams just like the lyrics. This the perfect treatment for someone confused, angered, suicidal, manically depressed, it's for anybody. And to top it all off it help to bring industrial to an ever bigger audience than Ministry did.

Linkin Park Hybrid Theory
This has now reached almost "classic" status, but Rap-Rock and Rap Metal was pioneered way before Linkin Park, this album is simply overrated. The album overall, is quite a promosing effort though. And LP does add in their own style by adding in some electronica....

The Used In Love and Death
Despite the fact that it can be considered "Emo", In Love and Death is deep in it's punk roots. It is actually Emo, in my opinion, Emo was really bands like Fugazi......not Cute is What We Aim For or My Chem. Some of the lyrics are almost childish, but all through the album; the hooks, programming, and structures will allow you to fall in love with this album.

Panic! at the Disco A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
A Fever You Can't Sweat Out is that weird kid at school that tries to fit in, and succeeds at a certain extent. The first half is the kid being himself and the second half of the album is the kid trying to fit in. The first half teeny bopper pop that teenage girls go crazy over and the second half, traditional music that sounds like stuff you'd here during A Las Vegas resort or if you went back in time. The way the album is sit up, it sounds like a desperate attempt to stand out.
Despite the overplaying of "I Write Sin Not Tragedies", if you give Panic! A chance, you may find songs that you might listen to, several years from now. Giv
