Drifter through with his series idea to come out with albums in October and December but he didn't so im still waiting on Rule ofThumb and Practice Makes Paper. I know you asked for his old stuff but it really just turned into me filling your shoutbox with my thoughts on all his stuff lol. Drifter heard it yet. Havent heard 2, 4, 5, or 6. The two corner albums are by far his weakest ive heard imo, especially Corner 2. I NEED to hear his collabs with Too $hort but haven't gotten around to it. D-Boy Diary albums are actually pretty great especially the first one. Connected and Respected should've been made years ago (you can pretty much take all their collabs on RR though and make one tbh lol). I think Gift of Gab is awesome as well but way too short. would've been fine if he actually went December 6 11:15 PM
Drifter fantastic as well. Element of Surprise is a double disc mob album and I think it's one of the best double discs in rap. Charlie Hustle is pretty much the most typical 90s 40 albums but that's a good thing lol. Loyalty and Betrayal is probably his best 00s album imo but Grit and Grind is also excellent. Breakin News is pretty much his transition into his hyphy phase. Havent heard any Click albums or Ball Street Journal but ive been meaning to. Drifter The Revenue Retrievin series is actually what got me into him! I had heard Major Way, Ghetto Report Card, Soil 1, and Charlie Hustle but they were all 3's but once I heard RR I was hooked on him. Day Shift and Overtime are 4.5s and Night and Graveyard are 4s. I listened to Day and Night 3 times one day and then Overtime and Graveyard 3 times the next. Fun weekend. Then I went back and fell in love with all of his stuff. In A Major Way is pretty much the ultimate mob album but Tha Hall of Game is December 6 11:09 PM
