5.0 classic
Angel Vivaldi Universal Language
Brand New The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
Death Symbolic
FM Black Noise
Kendrick Lamar good kid, m.A.A.d city
The only thing that keeps me from giving this album a 5 is "Backseat Freestyle"rEDIT: Nevermind, I get the song now. I understand why the lyrics are so lol now.
Pedro the Lion It's Hard To Find A Friend
Rush Moving Pictures
Silverstein Discovering the Waterfront
This is an album, along with a handful of others, that helped me get into the kind of music
I like today, eventually even leading me to like bands such as Opeth, In Flames, and most
things in the spectrum of "heavy" music. Years later, this album is still a classic to me,
and I love every song.
Slayer Seasons in the Abyss
The Bouncing Souls How I Spent My Summer Vacation
The Story So Far What You Don't See
Underoath They're Only Chasing Safety
Why did I give this such a high rating? Firstly, Underoath is one of the bands that first
got me into music with any sort of screaming. Secondly, after listening to this album fairly
persistently the past 3 years or so, I still love it. Thirdly, while this isn't ground
breaking material, it is all done top notch and works perfectly.

4.5 superb
Aerosmith Toys in the Attic
Alice in Chains Dirt
All Time Low Put Up or Shut Up
There honestly isn't much I can say to justify my rating on this disc. Pop punk is one of my favorite genres, and these guys definitely display some of the best of it on this album, in my opinion. Each song is infectious in it's own way.
All Time Low So Wrong, It's Right
Anamanaguchi Aurora
Animals As Leaders The Joy of Motion
August Burns Red Found in Far Away Places
Born of Osiris The Discovery
Defeater Empty Days and Sleepless Nights
Deftones Diamond Eyes
Elder Brother Heavy Head
Green Day Dookie
This was nearly a 5 for me. However, the tracks Coming Clean and F.O.D. ruined that. Outside of that, the rest of the album is extremely enjoyable.
Immortal Technique Revolutionary Volume 2
In Flames Whoracle
Joe Satriani Surfing with the Alien
Kanye West The College Dropout
Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Kendrick Lamar Section.80
Madvillain Madvillainy
Mastodon Crack the Skye
Mayday Parade A Lesson In Romantics
Mayday Parade Mayday Parade
Well, coming into this album, I figured I'd probably love it. I was right. I love most of this band's material. The only songs I've heard previously from this album were "Oh Well, Oh Well" and "Stay". This album is chock full of energy, as well as plenty of emotional charge throughout each song. "Stay", as well as a couple other tracks, lack some of the aforementioned energy, but have multitudes of emotional charge. In short, this album is basically for any fan of pop punk or anyone wanting to try broadening their listening horizons. After a couple listens, I may change my rating up to a 5.

Megadeth The System Has Failed
Other than two tracks that felt more like filler than anything, this is a great effort from Megadeth. One or two songs, other than the two aforementioned tracks, felt a little bland to me, but majority of the songs were easy to headbang or tap your foot to.
Mudvayne Lost and Found
The only negative thing I can think of about this album is the blandness of the guitar in most tracks. Bass is very good in this album though, as well as drums, and vocals majority of the time. This is a great album, but could be much better (mostly in the last few tracks of the album in parts.) This would easily receive a 4.25 if possible.

Underoath The Changing of Times
Underoath has a very special place in my heart. They were one of the first bands to get me into the "heavier" side of music. The first material I heard from Underoath was off of They're Only Chasing Safety. Then, I heard some stuff off of Cries Of The Past and Act Of Depression. And finally, I heard some stuff off of here. To this day, this album still contains some of my favorite Underoath songs, such as: When The Sun Sleeps, Alone In December, Never Meant To Break Your Heart, etc. I find this album to be the most emotionally charged Underoath record for the most part, my favorite with Dallas as vocalist, and one of my favorite Underoath records overall.
Underoath Cries of the Past
Underoath fixed every mistake they made on Act Of Depression and released a very enjoyable album.

albums.

Bleeding Through The Truth
Five Finger Death Punch War Is The Answer
Mainly for someone that doesn't typically delve into the heavier side of music, but wants to get their feet wet. That doesn't mean this is necessarily bad, just nothing all that over the top great. Some of the lyrics are fairly bad, though. rOverall, none of the songs are bad in anyway, and majority of the songs you'll find yourself bobbing your head too, but you will not find technical prowess here.
I See Stars 3D
Kanye West 808s and Heartbreak
Killswitch Engage Killswitch Engage (2009)
I enjoy most of the tracks on here. The same formula being used over and over does get
tiresome after a while, though. Very few moments were refreshing. Outside of this, when
listening to most of these songs randomly among others (i.e. not listening to the full
album, having songs randomly come on through a shuffle on an iPod, or something), I enjoy
them MUCH more. The material is good in my opinion, just slightly tiresome when listening to
them all right in a row.
Metallica Reload
I'm torn between a 2.5 and 3 for Load and Reload. They are equal to me In terms of quality, not bad, but definitely not great.
Metallica Load
My Chemical Romance The Black Parade
Nickelback All the Right Reasons
Puddle of Mudd Come Clean
Soilwork Sworn to a Great Divide
The All-American Rejects The All-American Rejects
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Don't You Fake It
Thirty Seconds to Mars This Is War
Underoath Act of Depression
For each song, you can find at least 1-3 minutes of boredom. Granted, every song is about 6-10 minutes long, but that's still no excuse. Every time something interesting happens, something boring is there to counteract it eventually. However, I still find this to be a fairly solid effort. The only song that I think had no overly boring parts was "Watch Me Die", so if I were to recommend anything from this album, that song would be it.
Whitechapel Our Endless War

2.5 average
Asking Alexandria From Death to Destiny
This album in no way deserves all the 1s it has. No, this is nothing perfect, but it's a lot rbetter than what I expected from this band. They're getting better. Seriously though, the rfact that this is rated lower than Reckless and Relentless at the moment is just utterly rridiculous. That album was the epitome of bad.
Avenged Sevenfold Sounding the Seventh Trumpet
Breakdown of Sanity Mirrors
I'm really not sure why this album is rated as high as it is. Holy breakdowns. This album is
filled to the brim with breakdowns and god damn is it fucking annoying. There are a few
interesting leads and drum sections here and there though. Bass is practically inaudible
most of the time. Vocals are decent. This band could be really good if they would ditch the
5 breakdowns a song method.
Redeeming Factors: The guitar solo on December, the instrumental track Mary, the
instrumental track Jnana, and the guitar solo in Paralyzed.
Children of Bodom Skeletons in the Closet
Device Device
Escape the Fate Ungrateful
Falling in Reverse The Drug in Me Is You
I liked this album a lot the first time I heard it when it came out. Now, while I don't dislike it, it definitely is not as good as I previously thought. There are some downright terrible lyrics and moments throughout the album, but there are some very good ones as well (well good songs/moments anyways, good lyrics aren't really found anywhere). Raised by Wolves is an awesome song, as is The Drug In Me Is You, I'm Not A Vampire, Sink Or Swim, Goodbye Graceful, and Don't Mess With Ouija Boards. Pick Up The Phone is a fairly solid track (don't understand the hate for it). Tragic Magic is unbelievably bad. Good Girls, Bad Guys is also pretty damn bad. Caught Like A Fly has a decent chorus, but everything else is bad. The Westerner is a meh track with an overly annoying "doo doo doo doo doo" singing part in the middle. One thing I just realized, some of the choruses sound fairly samey. Ex: The Drug In Me Is You and The Westerner. Overall, I'm tempted to give this album a 3.5 but I know that's just too high for this band and the effort into this album. The album is move of a 3.25 or slightly below. So, going with a 3.

Edit: I get the hate for Pick Up The Phone now. Can't believe I contemplated giving this a 3.5 at one point. Bumped down to a 2.5 now.
Five Finger Death Punch American Capitalist
Hawthorne Heights If Only You Were Lonely
Kid Rock Devil Without a Cause
Nickelback Silver Side Up
Ozzy Osbourne Scream
Six Feet Under 13
Six Feet Under Commandment
The main, maybe even only, problem with this
album is Barnes' shoddy and unreliable vocal
performance. There are a couple instances
where it's decent, and other instances where
it becomes cringe-worthy. With a better
vocalist, this could easily be a 3-3.5

2.0 poor
Bring Me The Horizon Suicide Season
Chelsea Grin Desolation Of Eden
This album is littered with fairly bad vocals and breakdowns. There are, however, some shining moments that show Chelsea Grin has potential. "The Human Condition", for example, has a handful of cool sounding parts in the song, such as the intro. "Elysium", an instrumental track, is very solid, up until the last 20 seconds, when a long, brooding breakdown commences. I'm also fairly fond of the song Recreant, despite the hatred it gets. Songs such as "Revenant", on the other hand, are just dreadful. Opening with a breakdown is never a good idea. Any positive moments of the song are quickly pushed aside by breakdown after breakdown. In conclusion, this is a fairly okay effort from Chelsea Grin, showing that among all of their weaknesses, are a few glimmers of hope.
Chelsea Grin My Damnation

Suicide Silence The Cleansing
Suicide Silence No Time to Bleed

1.5 very poor
Bullet For My Valentine Temper Temper
There are 3 tracks on this CD that I like a lot. Too bad, outside of those three tracks
(P.O.W., Tears Don't Fall Part 2, and Living Life On The Edge Of A Knife), everything else
is practically unbearable. From horrible vocals, atrocious lyrics, to being downright
boring musically, this album is a huge step down from any of BFMV's other efforts.
Fall Out Boy Save Rock and Roll
A song featuring Big Sean? Brilliant. NO.Can someone tell me how this band became such a piece of shit? I used to love these guys. Now they put out this mostly sugar coated mainstream pop crap? WHAT?!
Hellyeah Stampede
Six Feet Under Graveyard Classics

1.0 awful
Asking Alexandria Reckless and Relentless
Admittedly, there's one song on here I enjoy, and one that is pretty decent outside of the prior track. The rest of the content on here I can't even STAND in the slightest. The vocals on a large part of the songs are just atrocious, breakdowns are included in practically every single track, and many other horrible things.
Falling in Reverse Fashionably Late
There are a few interesting ideas here, but nothing is pulled off. At all.
