This album more or less is essentially Reign in Blood in the form of powerviolence. If you watched
the making of the album, Todd Jones (vocalist/guitar) made it apparent as to how much he loves
Slayer which was a primary influence for their sound here. As usual they have a really gnarly
buzzsaw guitar tone with riffs that will positively SLAP YOUR SHIT. They're more mid-tempo and
will get your head fuckin' banging itself clean off. On top of that, the solos are pretty
reminiscent of Jeff Hanneman in that they wail and screech all over the place which make them
sound rather chaotic/messy. To sum this up:FUCKING PREPARE FOR ANOTHER STELLAR RECORD BY NAILS

This album is so fucking good. Seriously. It will leave you amazed and breathless. Never
have I heard such a beautifully crafted black/folk album like this. It whisks you away to a
different world in its sorrowful yet triumphant atmosphere. The black metal elements are a
bit heavier. The riffs are brought for sure this time around. They didn't fall into the
sophomore slump, nope... what they did is completely exceed their debut. Get this album.

Probably one of the most interesting black metal albums you could possibly listen to this
year. Despite its incredible length I was enjoying every minute of it. This album has heavy
amounts of doom metal riffs and the songs are filled with some amazing atmosphere. One track
in particular *Malefica* gives off this feeling that of your own inevitable demise.

This album deserves a review 100%. Its a really fun blend of folk, melo-death, thrash. On top of that they employ really catchy cleans! Ugh. One of my favorites from 2012.
Aeternam Ruins of Empires
This album really deserves a review. Its a fun mixture of a melodic death metal, symphonic, and oriental influences. Hell, even a little thrash in there too. Its just a smorgasbord of the genres I mentioned and put together in a very entertaining fashion. I'm happy to hear these guys come back and put out a new album because Moongod is a personal favorite of mine.

Yeah... this album is definitely worth the hype. I wasn't sure cause its electronic and its rare
when music of this genre can actually be THIS captivating or emotive. It's an hour long of just
really feel good vibes. Reminds me of when I listened to the song Shelter for the first time. Now
imagine that for an hour straight. It's pure bliss my dudes.... last time I heard an electronic
album this enjoyable was Hurry Up, We're Waiting by M83.
