Boards of Canada Geogaddi
Boards of Canada Music Has the Right to Children
Botch We Are the Romans
Bruce Springsteen Darkness on the Edge of Town
One of my favorite albums all time with one of the greatest songs of all time (Racing in the Street). This is Springsteen at his best. Nothing else in his discog tops this masterpiece IMO. Might review this in the future.
Burial Untrue
Coalesce Functioning on Impatience
Drive Like Jehu Yank Crime
What a record this is. Math Rock + Emo + Post Hardcore. I love it. Epic dueling guitars. Fabulous song structures. Drive Like Jehu has their own sound and they do it very well. 5.
GZA Liquid Swords
This is, IMO, the purest form of rap. From the clean, fresh production to the impressive, thought provoking wordplay. Liquid Swords is Wu-Tang's greatest achievement and a classic in every sense of the word.
Hopesfall No Wings To Speak Of
ISIS Oceanic
ISIS Panopticon
Jimmy Eat World Clarity
Kendrick Lamar To Pimp a Butterfly
With this album growing on me more and more it is just reassuring me how worthy this really is of a 5. Truly a masterpiece with awesome jazz influence and poetry. Standouts include "King Kunta" "These Walls" "U" "How Much A Dollar Cost" and "Mortal Man" Hard 5.

Lil Ugly Mane THREE SIDED TAPE VOLUME ONE
Solid from start to finish...and there is a lot of material here
Edit: This is unbelievable. Definition of a grower if you give it the time it deserves. One of the greatest projects of
its decade.
Mobb Deep The Infamous
Neil Perry Lineage Situation
Neil Young Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
No bad tracks here. This album defines him as an artist. From the sloppy guitar work to his unique voice. rEverybody Knows.. is such a complete effort from him and I believe it is his finest.

OutKast Aquemini
Pig Destroyer Prowler in the Yard
Pink Floyd Animals
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here
The most wonderful and beautifully crafted prog rock to ever be played into my ears. Pink Floyd is the greatest prog band of all time and David gilmour is a master of the guitar. Hard 5.
Portishead Roseland NYC Live
Raekwon Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...
Shiner Lula Divinia
Slint Spiderland
There is really nothing like the atmosphere on this album. It is an absolute trip through the young creative minds of 4 boys from Louisville. This has really become one of my favorite albums of all time and opened me up to the genres of post rock and post hardcore. I would recommend this to anyone. Hard 5.

This Day Forward The Transient Effects of Light on Water
Incredible album from start to finish. Songs effortlessly flow into one another. Nothing overstays its welcome and the album clocks in at about 30 minutes. Truly some of the best melodic hardcore. Can be absolutely beautiful for a moment and switch up in a second to ruthless, earth shattering hardcore. This album deserves much more recognition than it gets.

Can Tago Mago
The most perfect nonsense of an album ever crafted. Challenging, bold, original, engaging yet easy to dismiss as hippie garbage. Everything you know about music will change after hearing this album and will challenge your attention span. Disc 2 especially. Don't go into this album expecting to be blown away upon first listen. Take your time with it, but try to stay away from only listening to tracks on shuffle. It is meant to be taken as a whole. Tago Mago should be given a chance by any lover of music. Listen to it as many times through as you need to to fully understand. It is like an amazing psychedelic dream that all too quickly turns into a terrifying religious nightmare. Hard 5.

One of the best video game OSTs there is. Takes inspiration from earlier 90s ambient of the time like Aphex Twin. Most importantly, it puts you directly into its post apocalyptic world. Extremely immersive. Stands well on its own away from the game.

Neil Young Harvest
In 1972, after having released two superb efforts, Neil Young put out the album Harvest. In short, Harvest is a very consistent album with great moments. Although it is on the shorter side running at 37 min, it will keep your attention all the way through as Young sings some of him best lyrics along with amazing songwriting.

In Mother's Milk you can hear a lot of BSSM's elements, but not quite focused yet. The alt rock is there as well as the funk influences (Higher Ground). But it just has not come together. In Sex Magik, that is exactly what happens. Everything works and flows very nicely. Positively, the Chili Peppers' best work.

So I’ve heard my fair share of power metal up to this point in my life; it’s crazy to think that this might be the album to
get me to do a deep dive into the genre... This record is awesome from start to finish. Great musicianship and
songwriting all around. Killer riffs that are pretty much non-stop. Not to mention the vocalist here has PIPES and does
not hold back. Extremely fun album.

Criminally underrated effort from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Fantastic cuts from start to finish with the T/T, Room at the Top and Swingin? being some of his best to date. Truly deserves more recognition from the masses. Production is crisp and clear. Writing can be a bit plain at times but it?s Tom Petty so the guitar and rhythms makes up for it. Coming off of “Presents”, JD returns over a decade later to deliver “LP.” Instrumentals are great, the musicianship
is there all the way through but the vocals fall flat in comparison making for a lukewarm experience. Also, much
more of a post hardcore album than anything they have released in the past. Still good
though.

Freddie Gibbs and Madlib Bandana
Coming off of the superb Pinata... Bandana doesn’t come close. Freddie sounds alright with some good lines
here and there (also some stinkers) but Madlib must’ve been out of energy in the studio. Beats sound tired,
scattered, unfocused and unimaginative in comparison to his usual form. Freestyle S**t has to be one of the
worst openers this year. I was hoping that was gonna be the only hiccup but the first section of Half Manne was
equally terrible. If this had been released 6 months after pinata it would be acceptable but it has been 5 years,
yikes! “Shit so real gotta use fake names” my god Freddie, genius! You know it’s bad when the best line on the
album comes from a feature. Did however enjoy the snuffalapagus line, killer mike feature and Johnny Sac name
drop. Stand out track was “Crime Pays.”
