4.5 superb
Alter Bridge Blackbird
Beastwars The Death of All Things
The Observatory August is the Cruellest

4.0 excellent
Alter Bridge Fortress
Beast In Black From Hell With Love
Fallujah Dreamless
Lamb of God VII: Sturm und Drang
Tremonti Dust
Much better than "Cauterize" in my opinion. Pretty much everything is more polished and the
song choices are great. That said, song structure is pretty much par for the course but
that's really the only complaint here.

3.5 great
Alter Bridge One Day Remains
Alter Bridge AB III
Beast In Black Dark Connection
Haken Affinity
Tremonti Cauterize
Much better compared to "All I Was", imo. Little more musically exploitative in places, though the songwriting structure doesn't break out too often from the norm. Mark also sounds much more confident as a vocalist on this one. Overall, it's solid.

3.0 good
Breaking Benjamin Dark Before Dawn
Not mind-blowing, but good enough to let people know that BB is back. I'm hoping for some more musical progression on the next one.
Metallica S&M2
A fun listen, but doesn't hold a candle to the original. Some of the arrangements on songs from
S&M1 get touched up some (see "Master of Puppets"), but the setlist remains questionable and could
have used some deeper cuts from the back catalog.
Opeth Pale Communion
Sabaton The War To End All Wars
Not as memorable as their first foray into World War I, but has its moments.

Fav tracks: Stormtroopers, Solider of Heaven, Lady of the Dark
Tremonti All I Was
Tremonti A Dying Machine
Trivium What the Dead Men Say

2.5 average
Fozzy Judas
Jericho & Co. continue their more radio-driven sound on an album with some fun moments, but "Judas" ultimately doesn't offer much more than that.
Ghost (SWE) Impera
Falls a bit short of their previous two albums, unfortunately.
Skillet Unleashed
Not the worst these guys have done (Rise, Awake) but definitely not near their best. Probably one of the more preachy records in the recent catalog too with some of the lyrics. Still has some guilty pleasures on it though ("Feel Invincible", "The Resistance.")

2.0 poor
Avenged Sevenfold The Stage
The musical ambition is there, but holy shit there are no hooks and Sanders is trying way too fucking hard. As bad as HTTK was, at least it had hooks. Really don't see what the hype is all about.
Megadeth Dystopia

1.5 very poor
Muse Simulation Theory
Midlife Crisis - The Album
