Had never heard of these guys before but wow, this album is great! Really nice depressive atmosphere, some great instrumental sections, and the guitar tone is as plodding and heavy as I could ask for. Great crying-in-a-forest type music.

It's really unfortunate that this released on the same day as Pain Remains because I honestly think this is substantially better. Better guitar tone/production, more variation between songs, and the female operatic vocals really hammer home the epic vibe quite well.

It has enough of their DNA and signature wackiness to still be fun, but we've reached BTBAM levels of lolrandom genre switches that start to feel a bit ridiculous and performative. Maybe that's the point, but it doesn't tough Celebrity Therapist for me.

Lorna Shore Pain Remains
Just finished my first listen so this could certainly change but I really wanted to like this more. Half the album was already released forever ago and at least two of those singles are boring enough to be cut (Sun/Eater and Cursed to Die). Will is crazy but there's just no real pacing in this at all. It just feels like a bunch of songs with similar intensity, even if the tempos slow down a few times. Pain Remains 1 is still great but I am so. sick. of their style of breakdown. Literally the same note they chug the whole album for every single breakdown and I am beyond over it. I was totally on board with them after To the Hellfire but this is really underwhelming imo.
Majesties Vast Reaches Unclaimed
If you're really jones-ing for Jester Race-era In Flames then this will resonate with you. Aside from that, I don't think there's much here to chew on. The production is alright and the guitar melodies are nice but they sound like a clone of the bands they're paying homage to imo.

I honestly liked Yokai since the trap beats in between riffs were pretty unique for this scene, but now they've regressed into Linkin Park choruses and I schleep. The riffs are still fun but the vocals are awful.
